New

I was admitted to NE Methodist for Double Pneumonia and Bronchitis. I was sent to a room for my stay but unfortunately the call button wasnt functioning properly it kept calling the nurses station.

A nurse got frustrated that it kept calling so she walked into my room and disconnected the call button and walked out ! A nurse pass by and I explained to him if I had a problem how was I to call the nurses station ? He was nice enough to get Sara for me . I explained that what the nurse did could have resulted in someones death theres a reason why patients have call buttons.

Sarah explained to me that she would speak to the nurse and retraining her . I ask to speak to her supervisor Sara El-Kadi she stated that she would come see me the next day and to call her . The next morning I called her cell phone and answered rudely I explained that I wanted her to know about a complaint I had she didnt seem to happy to hear that she came into my room and closed the door I kept asking her to please open the door and she refused to. I then explained that I waned to speak to someone else in a higher position and refused to give me a name and walked out!

Kate then came in to speak to me as I explained what happened she suggested that she bring Doctor Sara back to apologize. Sara tried to apologize but then started lying about what happened and then ask her why would she would lie she then decided just to leave the room! Kate then told me that she would contact Sarah supervisor to come see . Big mistake Erin came into my room with a attitude telling me I needed to respect her staff and she was here support them first before a patient ?

I tried to explain to Erin that her staff had violated my patient rights! She got upset and walked out I asked her for her supervisor name she said Im the highest in admissions so you cant speak to no one else ! As she walked out I could swear she made a racist comment towards me ! I followed her out to the hallway and yelled to all the supervisors that I wanted to check out of the hospital to go to another one .

Erin automatically said check him out with no regard to my medical condition !!! Kate came to speak to me and convinced me I needed my treatment. I explained that I didnt feel safe in the hospital anymore especially that Im on 16 medications . Whos to say these two women wouldnt want to retaliate against me because I didnt check out to go to another hospital and were upset with for reporting a nurse that made a huge mistake and needs to be retrain !

You can sense racism in the hospital especially with certain nurses just by the way the look down on you and speak to you. What should you expect they are learning this behavior from their supervisors and management team ! I believe they stated asking patients if they are from Mexico moving forward! I finally made my complaint with Peggy but I think she only did it to shut me up .

I GUARANTEE YOU NOTHING WILL GET RESOLVED AND MY COMPLAINT ENDS UP IN ERINS TRASH IN HER OFFICE. WHAT HAPPENED TO TAKING CARE OF YOUR PATIENTS

Emergency room took hours to get my wife into room

My wife had a severe migraine. I took her to

North East Methodist since we s as Keats had great care in the past.

We waited 30 minutes get someone to see her. They took her to the back and put an IV in and put us out front in the waiting room again. This is 3 hours after we got here. There are others in the waiting room with IV in their arms.

Some have walked out to go to another hospital.

Im thinking about it.

This use to be a great hospital. It seems since their expansion their patient care has gone down.

Terrible care

I went in because I gave a dental infection and I was worried that I was septic. I told the young man at the ER Window and he took me right back, and then three volunteers took my vitals.

I was then taken back to the next area where two men asked me a few questions and looked at my tooth. The one guy then proceeds to tell me about pain medications and how they don't prescribe them and all the new laws etc. I was in pain, but that was not my main concern. I have been septic before and I know how it feels.

I can tolerate pain until my dentist appointment on Thursday, I just didn't want to die before then! So they sat me in a waiting area for two hours and never once addressed the issue of sepsis. They never took blood or ran any tests.

I was then sent home with a prescription for penicillin. They never once acknowledged my concern.

Family member went in with a curable problem, never to see home again. Do not take yourself or loved ones to this hospital.

I watched as they laughed while trying to resuscitate my loved one. The most traumatic and horrible experience i have had in my life

Northeast Methodist Hospital - Medical Care Review

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

My son has been dealing with nausea and sinus headache since Thanksgiving . I took him to NE Methodist and the Dr.

Diagnosed him with anorexia. And told him its not allergies . This is not the 1st time these idiots misdiagnosed someone I know and they just blow you off, and dont treat you for what you go in for.

Then then they are quick to bill you. Im sick of these dr.s and nurses getting away with this .Nobody does anything about it .
