I purchased furniture in October of 2022. Against my better judgment, I left a 5 star review prior to receiving a full replacement on my warranty as I was under the belief that the company would stand behind their product.

Prior to my review, they were following up, keeping up with communications and doing everything they could to handle the warranty with my furniture. However, ever since I have sent a favorable review I have never heard back from the company and have had nothing but excuses as to why they cannot replace the recliner which has been lopsided since day one. I have been waiting to hear from the so-called supervisor for 3 weeks now. I have also been told this recliner is made in China which I would never have purchased in the first place had I known this to begin with.

I posted this review on the company's site and instead of them responding to me as any reputable, customer service-oriented company would, they immediately deleted it and continued to ignore me. If you want anyone to take your complaint seriously, especially if you are a senior citizen, who I think this company thinks they can take advantage of, register a complaint with the attorney general.

Poor customer service.

We bought a recliner Dec. 27th 2021.

It was delivered on Jan.

11th 2022. After about 2 weeks my husband noticed it was going back TOO far and it was creaking .... It's been getting worse & when we looked at the recliner & turned it over Sunday evening March 20th we found that the board underneath was loose on one side and broken on the other side. We called the store on March 21 were told a repairman would need to be scheduled - someone would call us back that day or today, Thursday, March 24.

We called the store to find out the scheduling person is out until Monday.

The real problem is that my husband is having surgery on wednesday, March 30 and REALLY NEEDS THE RECLINER WHEN HE COMES HOME (which is why we bought it ahead of time)...WE WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS BUSINESS!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED THAT NO ONE CAN HELP US OUT!!!

I paid 1500 on my merchandise on 3/21/21 and I am not happy to wait for my merchandise to arrive in 90 days I will rather order through overstock where I can get my merchandise in 2 till 3 weeks

I purchased a sofa online for my new apartment on Nov. 13 2020.

Within minutes of the purchase, Northeast took the full amount, plus shipping costs and taxes. It is now June 1, 2021 and I still have not received my sofa. I've left countless voicemails and they will not answer the phone or return the calls.

I am at the end of my rope. They have pushed my delivery date back 6 times and there is still no solid date for my delivery..

We bought a strong spa hot tub in 2016. It cracked in October 2019.

It took me calling daily and posting a complaint on the BBB before anyone would do anything. My tub is still under warranty. Finally after I complained enough both Companies decided to approve the warranty. My new hot tub was delivered last week to North east and I have called 2 times and I still have not scheduled a time for delivery..

The employees can't find my hot tub and I can't seem to talk to anyone with authority. My call today I was told it would be another week before anyone would call me to deliver. I have been patient enough this has gone on for 2 months and I have only received one phone call from Northeast.

This has been the worse customer service I have ever received. I should not have to keep calling daily for a warrant hot tub to be replaced.

I will never shop here again. They have lost my trust.

Very Dissappointed

My experience with NE Factory Direct in Euclid was absolutely awful. I purchased a bed and chest of drawers from them.

These items arrived two weeks later in which I took off work to receive. The headboard was cracked from top to bottom. When I called the store, the girl was short with me and expected me to receive the items and "they would see if it could be repaired". I rejected the delivery except the chest.

Three separate times they said they would call me back and never did. They attempted to re-deliver three weeks later (now at 5 weeks since I placed the order) and when they arrived, they had only a headboard, not an entire bed. When I called the store, I was placed on hold for 15 min. and then got disconnected.

When I called back, the girl was short with me. I called a third time and asked to speak to a manager and the guy that answered would not put me through to a manager and kept interrupting me every time I tried to speak. Then they told me they had lost the rest of my bed. I told them I wanted a full refund and was told they would not accept the chest back.

I want a chest that is going to match a bed and since they are not providing the bed, I think it is fair to return the chest. This is their fault, not mine. I threatened to call channel 8 news and then they said they would take the chest back. They supposedly gave me a full refund on the furniture (although it has not yet reached my credit card) but they would not refund my $80 delivery fee.

If I do not see this refund by the end of the week, I will be disputing this charge. And since they screwed this up so bad they should have refunded my $80 as well. If they were the last furniture store around, I will never shop there again. They never once tried to make this right and their whole customer service team is rude.

And they are not cheaper than other places.

I saw my Ashley TV stand on their floor and it was more expensive than what I paid Ashley directly. And since this all has happened, I saw the same bed on the internet for $300 less.

Sales rep on the phone had no clue what a Lane recliner was

Today I called NE Direct because on the Lane Furniture website it stated you carried Lane Furniture. The person on the phone, Bobbie, who was the sales rep I was given said he had never heard of Lane Furniture and I told him his company was listed as a supplier.

'Bobbie had no clue so I knew I was going to get no where.

So I went on to the next store listed where the sales people were knowledgeable. Get Bobbie trained!!!!

Just purchased from there .....

it's true that they have no customer service at all. calls not returned, no notification that delivery would be late.

i did return to the store to inquire about why my furniture wasn't delivered on time. was told my chair didn't arrive and would be delivered the next day. when asked why i wasn't notified, was told it would be delivered tomorrow. but no time window.

i was the last delivery of the day. but i live 40 miles from the warehouse, so no surprise. just nice to be informed.

that said, i thought i got a great deal on the furniture and mattress i bought.

if you can pick up what you buy, things should be a lot easier and you'll save on some quality furniture and on the delivery charge. Best of Luck.

I would ask lots of questions and get it in writing before buying any kitchen cabinets from this company,The service was fantastic in the beginning but OMG after the sale... all down hill from there, lie after lie after lie and still waiting for parts that were wrong to be replaced since 01/07/2012 .......Before knowing all this I was dumb enough to order a second kitchen placed ordered on 2/27/2012 order was to be in on 04/10/2010 as of 4/18/2012 still being told...OH they should be here now by 5/10/2012 but still no guarantee and when you call to check on your order you have to go over ever detail with them over and over to be lied to again and again please look before you leap with this company ....Sincerely Still Waiting Steven Bartone.

We ordered cabinets in November 2018 and were promised delivery by Christmas, it is now January 23 2019 and we can’t get a return call from anyone!

Blatant Fraud!

My email sums it up...

Neal,

We are so disappointed with our decision to buy our mattress from NE Furniture. I am sending this email to you as a last resort, having tired calling you no less than half a dozen times and having left you numerous messages without hearing back from you. If you choose not to respond to this email, we will be forced to pursue other options (including filing charges), which I assure you we will pursue.

We purchased a Winslow Firm Queen size mattress from your store on Saturday 30th April. You assured us delivery on Monday 2nd April. Ofcourse, keeping with the reviews we saw online, your delivery didn't happen till Tuesday 3rd April, without any intimation to us about the delay. We were ok with that, despite the inconvenience of having to make last minute arrangements to stay with friends. Then you deliver the mattress on the 3rd but it turns out to be the wrong mattress. We realized this, as we sat on the mattress and it didn't feel firm at all. We then hunted for the brand name and it turns out to be a DreamWorld Mattress and not the Winslow Firm Mattress that we ordered (clearly printed on the receipt you gave us). We were shocked! We immediately tried calling you and have been trying to reach you for the past three days! No answer, no response to any messages! The worst experience of service in my life!

I am willing to wait till the end of today for you to respond and clarify, there might be a perfectly reasonable explanation for this (delivery goofup, etc). But you need to tell us!

Neal from NE furniture is a thief

This guy refused to deliver my furniture after

I paid it in full. I am going to file a formal complaint

with the Better Business Bureau and I am going to send

all the complaints about him. I'm also getting a lawyer

to get my money back. I want to take him to small claims court

so that they can run him out if this town. I agree with other comments here:

How has he managed to stay in business? He is a joke. He sent people to deliver the furniture 10PM and they didn't even try to get it through the door! So now he has my furniture AND my money! I am willing to spend time and energy just

to show him that he cannot do this to people. Thief!

Total SCAM - does not provide the furniture

Purchased a bedroom set on 2/19/2011. Stated 1-2 week delivery. After 2 weeks no set and would not answer or return phone calls. Picked up mattress set ourselves. Told delivery soon.

2 more weeks of no answering or returning phone calls. Went there and was told he had been out and the people covering were not answering the phone. The set would arrive 3/23 and he would call and set up delivery. No calls. Finally contacted them 3/26 and set was supposedly on the truck and on the way to the house. Never called or delivered.

3/27 was told he didn't know where the truck or furniture was, and that a delivery to another customer was never made either. Then an hour later the story was that the nightstand was dropped off of the truck so they didn't deliver. Would deliver on Monday without the nightstand. I cancelled the purchase and demanded my money back. He credited my charge card. DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER THEM !!!!
