Card keeps getting blocked

AI Highlights
  • Card blocked by fraud system on a $5 charge from a vendor of 12 years; a zero-dollar alert from a new business came, but the block persisted.

I hate this credit union. I was going along spending in my card with a company I have dealt with for 12 years and lo and behold my card gets blocked again.

Their fraud system is stupid as it blocks my card over businesses I have dealt with for years and doesn't block new charges from new businesses. I got a text over a zero dollar charge from new business but got my card blocked over a 5 dollar charge at a company I have dealt with for 12 years.

I'd like for them.to pay attention and stop blocking my card.dont go here ever

Employees at North Country Federal Credit Union will announce your medical information in public

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • Staff publicly disclosed my medical bill, violating privacy.
  • The credit union uses official bank checks, not money orders.

I was at North Country Federal Credit Union in Vermont because I had a medical bill to pay.

I assumed that their employees had good morals and were trained to be considerate of their customers.

When I got there I was told that they won't do money orders (where YOU write the name of who you're paying) they strictly do official bank checks (where they type in who you're paying) and THIS WAS FINE WITH ME and I agreed to it.

I did not know was that this lady preparing my check would make a spectacle out of me!

I naively showed this jerk my medical bill not knowing that she would announce my information in front of everyone in earshot! She reminded me of an overgrown testy fifteen-year-old.

She expected me to cooperate with her abuse of me in public and answer her back as if she really needed clarification on who to write the check to.

If someone needs help understanding the doctors name on a medical bill, they should not work with the public.

FOR ANYONE WHO DOES NOT KNOW THIS, it is none of anyone's business what medical office someone goes to or what type of medical care they get!

Your medical care is intensely private, especially when you are a customer in a bank or credit union! You have the right to keep your medical treatment private and not have it broadcasted in public.

Any employee who reads OUT LOUD the name and type of your doctors office you get treatment from deserves to get fired.

It is highly immoral to publicly broadcast a customers medical history and treatments in any public room.

The next time I got a bank check, it was from a different bank in another town and I watched the girl at the counter SILENTLY copy the name and address from the bill AND THIS IS WHAT THEY SHOULD DO IN ALL OF THEM.

I tried submitting my review on this credit union on another website and from what I an see, it was never posted!
