Growing problem
I purchased a bag of blue oyster mushroom grain spawn in early Oct. and inoculated a bucket of sterilized straw substrate.
The holes in the bucket pined quickly, however after a few days the maturing mushrooms began to grow wild and not in clusters and turned brown and dried. This is an indoor grow under a grow tent with high humidity and about 8 hours of light. I have grown this way before with success.
What did do wrong this Time. The pins never turned blue.
