  • Cleanup after eviction faced deadlines and fines.

HOA has completely ignored any of my comments. Continuing to charge me unwarranted fees.

My yard is looking spiffy.

Still working on it. The neighbors are very happy with my work, as am I ;o)

Original review May 15, 2017

The North Range Village Metro District (HOA), Charles Wolfersberger, has become infamous for imposing arbitrary fines and liens on unpopular or "rogue" homeowners. Making things up as they go along, treating people unfairly, enforcing strict adherence to their rules, collecting fees, and acting irrationally and/or illegally.

These people (Charles Wolfersberger) on the HOA board are petty, vindictive, utterly incompetent and control freaks. Last fall I evicted a very bad renter. This renter completely destroyed the interior and exterior of my house. The police were called every time I tried to clean up the property and I was removed.

Immediately after eviction I began clean up filling up a 35 ton roll off for starts. I cut down a 30 foot tree and cleaned up the yard as much as I could before winter set in. The HOA gave me ONE DAY to clean up and then started harassing me and adding up fines. Come this April I began the spring clean up.

Reseeding the lawn, fertilizing, and fixing sprinklers. There are no weeds! May 2 the HOA sends me two lawn care notices and $100 extra fine ($50 previous). REALLY???

MAY 2!!! Rome wasn't built in a day! If they'd take the time to really look, the grass seed is SLOWLY starting to grow.

In the back yard I am redoing the sprinkler system and preparing to reseed. Now what else can a person do???

Loss:
$150
Cons:
  • Hoa in general

Preferred solution: Full refund
