y daughter recently visited Philadelphia, Pa (8/16-8/19). Reserved a room through Expedia at North American Motor Inns and upon arrival at the hotel she got in the bed and noticed BUGS in the bed called me crying. I told her to go to the front desk of the hotel and talk to the clerk (Tammy). Upon arrival she explained that there were bugs in the bed and was told by the clerk(Tammy) that she could move into another room was given a key when she got to that room it had a foul odor. She went back down to the lobby and told the clerk (Tammy) that the room was not up to par. She went back to here room and the maintenance man (Dominique) was there and informed her that the bugs were BED BUGS and that the he had called the front desk talked to Tammy. My daughter went back upset and told Tammy that she was not satisfied and did not want to stay. Tammy informed my daughter that she would have to talk to a manager for a refund. I then called the hotel talked to Tammy and asked for a manager and was told that he would not be in until Monday i asked for the managers name and was told that it was Milton Gibson. We called Monday didn't get to talk to a manager left message. We called Tuesday didn't get to talk to a manager. We called Wednesday finally talked to a manager (Milton Gibson) who stated that my daughter did not notify the staff; i informed him she did and gave him the names of his staff. He (Milton Gibson) said he would talk to his staff and as of today numerous calls later i have yet to hear form him (Milton Gibson). Doing further research i have found out that the hotel has a history of having bed bugs. All we want is to be refunded our money because she did not get to spend a night at the hotel. Also talked to Expedia and all they could say was its outta our hands
