Poor quality roof. Uxbidge Ma.

Replaced roof in December 2014. gave 2 page list of detailed requirements to contractor, quote received and actual work was $2000 more than quoted.

contractor said he lost the list I gave him? Roof completed, exterior light fixtures broken, deck railing damaged, still picking up nails and roofing debris, and now 2 months later roof leaks worst than original 23 year old roof that was replaced!

Also had paid an extra $550 dollars for a "4 star 50 year warranty" and now told leaking due to ice is not covered! Buyer beware with this company and also with Kevin Allen Carpentry!!

Nor'Easter Roofing fixed all that was wrong!

I had posted a complaint about this company but since my complaint the owner has done an amazing job making everything right. He was very nice about it and explained that the person I spoke with was new with the company and he aplogized and made things right!

Thanks Nor'easter Roofing!!!!!! I would have removed it but my password was lost and the computer kept saying it went to my email which it did not.

I think that if you post a negative the site should allow you to fix it just as this company has done cudos and thanks for the recent letter you sent. Word of mouth is a wonderful thing and that is how we found your company.

I was unable to take back a previous negative review and could not reset password so my husband created this account for me. I was angry but later found out that it was not the owner who I spoke with originally. When I did speak to him he made it all right.

Nor'easter Roofing Inc. Job incomplete

This company replaced 12 connecting roofs. When the job was complete the yard was full of roofing nails.

The company had to be called twice to pick up all the debris that was left in the grass. They also had and issue with a unit owner about a new leak that was comming into a pipe that was on the roof causing water to leak into a brand new furnace. After calling the company 3 times I had to hire an outside source to fix the seal costing me $100.00. The owner said it was not thier responsibility the man who repaired it says it was definitly thier fault.

There were also a few small holes that were in the pipe also that were never there for 6 yrs prior. Shop around before thinking of this company!

States on BBB he has two employees, but there were at least 7 guys there working ? ethics,

Folks dont be fooled read this whole article it appears to have a contrast of comments. The company says they were never contracted for this job yet there is a comment about what a great job was done. Things that make you go HMMMMM??

Read this entire complaint anything look suspicious? Denial of repair.

A comment from another unit owner proving they did occur. Things that make you go HUH??

This is to the unit owner who says the weather was bad for this company. A liar always gets caught! Dry Pattern Continues….December 27, 2010

Good morning bloggers,

It has been extremely dry since the LRC (Lezak’s Recurring Cycle) set up in October. Take a look at the area that has been near zero percent of normal precipitation during the past 30 days:

Precipitation totals at KCI Airport:

October: 1.oo” (2.33″ below average)

November: 1.85″ (0.45″ below average)

December: 0.32″ (1.10″ below average)

Total since October 1st: . . . → Read More: Dry Pattern Continues….December 27, 2010

There was no snow

How can another owner speak for 10 others if you notice the company says they never did work on this building?

I feel compelled to address complaints that were made against Nor’Easter Roofing by a unit owner where I also reside. I and many of the other 10 owners had a much different experience.

Nor’Easter was contracted by our Trustees to replace the roofs in December of ’09. While not a recognized month to begin a project due to extremes in temperature Rob and his team stepped up to the plate. They waited for temperatures to rise to specified working degrees and arrived that day. Extra men were brought in to ensure the job was completed before bad weather could interfere.

The two buildings were draped by tarps to protect them as well as to allow the team to slide debris off of the roof rather than having it thrown off into the snow covered yards. At day’s end the guys cleaned up, sometimes in the dark and with a foot of snow on the ground. The job was completed in a timely and quoted fashion. Debris was collected and Rob even assured us that since there was snow covering the ground he would come back whenever needed if more was found.

He was on site for the project, his team was courteous, and problems were always addressed and reported to Trustees.

While no company may be perfect, I can certainly tell that Nor’Easter takes a lot of pride by being on site, returning calls and responding to issues when they arise.

(Plus, the roofs look great!) I feel this is a situation where the internet can be extremely damaging when 1 individual can injure a company’s reputation with what I believe are a lot of false comments. I hope you will ignore these complaints, consider Nor Easter an option and allow the work to speak for itself!
