BEWARE!! NextCar Rental is a SCAM!!
I was a victim and plan to contact Florida AG to investigate. Bait and switch scheme among other things. My prepaid $6/day rental car with all taxes and fees for 3 days was $48 When I arrived they refused to honor my prepaid arraignment. Charged me absorbent fees for using my American Express card, had to pay surcharge because I have Shelter Insurance and its not on there approved insurance list, also had to pay more fees because my full coverage insurance on my car has $1000 deductible, I was told there was a fee on anything over $500 deductible.
All told, my final bill was $169! For a $6/day car for 3 days! Wait, it gets better. They refused to remove my first 2 prepaid rentals, AND no one told us they dont open until 6 AM, in ORLANDO, so no one was there when we arrived.
Gates locked, no one-no ride to airport, no one to check in car, and now late to airport. A man drove up just as uber showed up and said he was opening. We had to leave because we had to get to airport. There was another customer that had same situation.
We all left the keys on the front seat and left in the driveway. Later I got a notification they were charging me $450 for violating the smoking policy. No one in my group smokes or vapes. They sent a graph from a sensor that showed a sudden peak and dropped back to 0 about the time our uber driver showed at 5:17 AM and we were all outside the car.
GPS on graph is going to show their location and we were on their driveway. $450! Filed grievance with American Express, they were very interested in hearing my story and are investigating. I can swallow them charging me $169 for my car, even though my daughter paid $94 with approved credit card and insurance, for the same model car and same says.
But the 2 prepaids that got charged AND Smoking Fee at $450 is unacceptable. If you question this, I challenge you to call NextCar Rentals in Orlando Florida, and just try to get a human. Its all AI, and if you didnt know, it sounds real but its not.
No number to call, email or corporate address info on real people are the extremely rude front desk and *** poor manager, Joel , if that is his name. Other than that, try to call 321-800-**** or visit the dont give a crap about you front staff and Manager.

el día de mi reserva esperé demasiado por el vehículo y al momento del pago se realizaron 2 transacciones algo sospechosas. una de ellas fue el depósito por no tener mi tarjeta de crédito y aún llevo 3 meses exigiendo la devolución.

My experience was Horrible, first you have to wait one or two hours because they don't have employees, then they give you a car with bad tires or unsafe to drive. Then you get in the car and have to call them to rescue you because the tire blew up and nobody answers the phone.
Nobody answers the phone anyway. They have to call the supervisor and there is no supervisor to talk to, and then they don't want to credit you when you call a tow truck This place should not be in business and Priceline should not work with such a dishonorable company .On top of that they will charged you $150more just on fees they make up.

I am writing to address an issue I experienced during my recent visit to your rental location. Upon arrival to pick up my reserved 4x4 vehicle, I was informed of the liability waiver insurance and windshield coverage fees. Unfortunately, these costs were significantly higher than I anticipated. As a result, I opted to explore other rental options.
While I was arranging an alternative rental at a nearby desk, your representative informed me that I would need to request a refund from the third-party booking agency through which I made the reservation. This was unexpected and was not communicated to me during the booking process.
Since then, I have made multiple attempts to contact the third-party agency to request a refund, but I have been unable to get a response or a call back. This situation has caused significant inconvenience, and I am hoping you can assist me in resolving this matter.
I kindly request that you either facilitate the refund process on my behalf or provide guidance on how to proceed. Any assistance in resolving this issue promptly would be greatly appreciated.

First that all thank you for keep in contact… I did everything in my power to get my money back but nothing works… I call the Business Consumers Dept. in Puerto Rico and they told to go online and make a complaint either all details so they can investigate the case… thank you for your time and help!!!
Been two months waiting for a refund ($250) that they supposed to gave me when I turned in the car, I claimed two times and still waiting, it was in San Juan PR office why did you have to claim something that is yours?

I have contacted customer service several times I have emailed several times I was told from the customer service counter agent the day that I booked the car I could not use chime credit card after I paid for it with this card so I need a full refund and I've been asking for 2 months now please
