LOSS OF LOCAL CBS AFFILIATE IN SPRINGFIELD, MISSOURI
Well, I am one of those customers who pays our bill every month to Direct TV and have not been able to receive our local CBS affiliate because two corporations are fighting over my economic bones. I could be obscene here, but your conduct has been so obscene I cannot surpass it. IT HAS BEEN MORE THAN A YEAR AND STILL NO CBS AFFILIATE IN SPRINGFIELD, MISSOURI.
And you, Nexstar, are just as obscene as your partner in "crime", Direct TV.

KUSI-TV in San Diego News Needs To Be Professional - Less Or No Banter, Please!
This is a newscast, supposedly. The newscasters constantly banter about their opinions, personal lives, and local events and do not provide additional news and sports that viewers want and expect.
There is an emphasis on style and looks instead of actual news. Anchors Paul Rudy and Lauren Phinney actually look like Ken and Barbie. Hunter Sowards is too sexy and distracting, in my opinion. I recently saw the anchor subbing for the meteorologist, and the meteorologist Mark Mathis doing feature stories.
Neither are good outside their primary roles. They come off like entertainers, sometimes even airheads, when they should seriously be reporting the serious news. Leave the entertaining to Hollywood. As a viewer, I want news, weather and sports, including out of town scores, please, which also have a bearing on the local teams.
Just the facts. Once the banter starts, I immediately change stations as this is literally a "turn-off." I hope *** gets better. Unnecessary roughness, 15 yards penalty.
Wonder who they will focus on in San Diego football sports now that the Chargers have literally left the building. I hope that Nexstar, which recently purchased the TV station, can improve it.

Contract for DirectTV
Im a retired employee of AT&T an I know how things work! You need to get your heads out of your behinds and get things settled.
The ones suffering are the customers. But Im thinking that you just really dont care.
However, Id say that theres more people out there that feel the same way. An yes DirectTV an AT&T have gotten the same type of communication.

Hey *** - you are making money hand-over-fist and that's not enough for you. You buy up a majority of the major metropolitan news affiliates and then hold it's viewers hostage so that you can squeeze the streaming service companies for more money.
Great business plan.
Keep it up - your time is coming! That's the beauty of capitalism- when you *** your customers long enough, they'll move on to something better.

Cancelled Verizon lineup
You blame Verizon for pulling your channel lineup but neglect to mention the exorbitant rate increase you are asking Verizon to pay for this programming service. Not making enough money?
Verizon is correct in pulling your service. You are dishonest and expect Verizon customers to get mad at them, instead it is Nexstar who have caused this problem

Your deal with Verizon Fios
Nexstar is asking 64 percent increase charging Verizon a little exorbitant I think . So instead of taking my complaint you send me back to Verizon , there are two sides to every story and you dont want to explain yours . Verizon took the time to explain theirs and you didnt, bad business.

Holding Fox Tv station hostage
I live in VA with no over the air signal for the local Fox WFXR in Roanoke due to mountains blocking the signal. I have Dish network and Nexstar owns WFXR and took it off because it wants Dish to pay a BILLION dollars to put it back on.
I can't see any NFL games on Fox now.
The greed is disgusting. I see another post on here where they did the same thing with ABC right for months!

Due to Nexstar I can't watch any ABC shows
Nexstar demanded up to $10 more per month, per customer to keep ABC on DirecTV. Haven't been able to watch ABC shows since the beginning of July!
Of course it was cut out in the middle of The Bachelorette! Can't watch General Hospital anymore! No Bachelor in Paradise! The list goes on.
I have newer TV's, but I can't get regular channels even with an antenna!
Then they wonder why they can't get their ratings up!
It's so annoying not to be able to watch your favorite shows! GH is their only Soap Opera and I haven't been able to watch July,, August, and now Sept.

Nexstar has a board member, Tony Wells, that is also on the Board of Directors of Yelp. Yelp won't even post negative reviews of Nexstar that I tried to post.
Unbelievable conflict of interest! Is that even legal? It's at least unethical and immoral.
Maybe that's why Nexstar is not responding as it should. Just another garbage company.
