We refinanced our home, the finance company ordered a survey. When the surveyor was at our house he said the finance company had ordered a basic survey, but he wanted to do a different type. He said it would cost a little extra, but it would protect me if we built any additions onto our house within the next year. We have absolutely NO plans to do so. So we had no need for a higher priced survey. When they did the survey, rather than use flags like most places do in order to mark the boundaries, this guy dug holes and left behind metal stakes and PVC pipes. I am attaching photos of the holes he left and the plastic pipes (2 of the holes) and a metal rod sticking about 16 inches out of the ground in our neighbors yard. The neighbor was concerned about the rod being in the yard where he keeps his dog and he finally removed it last week. This occurred almost 4 months ago and still has not been taken care of.
