Was overcharged and room had problems

My husband and I had two rooms booked at your hotel last week. My husband was overcharged in his room, and in my room where I stayed with my children, the front door wouldn't close.

There were also workmen fixing it. Additionally, my toilet flooded during the night and we couldn't use the toilet for hours.

I tried to complain at check-out, but nobody would listen. My MGM member number is 4641**** and my husband's is 7719****.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. I advised them that I had consulted an attorney and would be moving forward with a law suit to recover my money. And they decided it was probably a good idea to just give it back instead

Ok so my 66th birthay was September 22 and that happened to be the weekend of the iheart music festival . My husband has serious cancer and hasnt got too long to live.

So when he said he wanted to go as a last hooray I couldnt say no. So i paid 1000 for tickets and 1000 for the room at NY.NY. Because they said they are pet friendly.,. I called to make sure they accept cats and was told yes .

But when we arrived after driving for 7 hours we were told No! And not nicely or with any kind of help to figure something out. Now i had to look for a place to board my 15 yrold diabetic cat thats never been away from us over night in a strange city. Staff treated us with complete indifference or were outright rude.

Fast forward : We get the cat settled ( an extra 120 for the taxi ride to the vet and 150 for the cats stay. Now we get to the room and its the most basic hotel ive ever seen . 450$ a night but no microwave or even free coffee . Motel 6 has free coffee.

. And the tv wasnt worth watching. Now im so miserable i cried all night. Birthday ruined and we decide to go home the next morning and miss the concert because the hotel was that bad.

1000 dollars down the toilet. I guess if all u care about vegas is the casinos then all that might not be an issue for u but they ruined my entire weekend beginning with the person that lied to me on the phone that said my cat was ok to take.

My first complaint is being talked about in my face by your staff. My daughter noticed as I was trying to get things straightened out with my bank during check in.

It was Cynthia and Veronica who were talking about me. I felt this was very unprofessional and very demeaning. I also feel its crazy to charge a resort fee then turn around and charge $200 for a deposit. You are robbing your guests by doing this because this information isnt presented until you check in.

This is simply not right. Then my bed had two nasty pillows with stains on them.

I could go on and on but for what I paid I can guarantee I will not be referring this hotel to anyone I know. I was there to celebrate my birthday and was highly disappointed in the service I received.

Sounds alot like my experience. They couldnt care less whether u stay or not.

They’ll get the nex sucker in line.,And not even the basic amenities in the rooms.,459 a night but not even free coffee ? That’s a joke!

We have just had to leave the pool due to nearly being hit by pool missiles being thrown by juvenile gangs. They are also aggressive in their horseplay and stopping those around them trying to be in the pool.

Lifeguards just watching them do it.

I will be posting extremely negative reviews about the pool as its not an enjoyable place. Music booming playing mindless songs geared towards teenagers whilst the majority of customers are middle aged. Half the pool loungers empty because of this.

Cant relax or even chat. Will look to stay elsewhere in future.

Noise complaint

The music at the hotel pool is way to loud and just plain obtrusive. You can hear the pounding bass and sounds all the way up to the 17th floor to the point you can not rest in your room at all...plus the type of music is not conducive to all guests.

It needscto be a variety of styles.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone just for these reasons alone. I will not stay here again

User's recommendation: Furthermore not only was music way to loud it also causes a safety problem because it would be difficult to hear if anyone was in distress in the swimming pool. The hotel management or customer service have not responded to me.
