HDO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

I have been with them for 5 years now. We use them for four different locations.

Three of them are restaurants, and one of the is a Department of Agriculture inspected facility. THe past year, this company became horrible. Customer service is non existent. The last straw was wet moldy towels.

THe were gross and filthy. I called immediately and three weeks later the still have not done anything about it. The customer service manager argued that it never happened and his only "help" was to threaten and try to extort me to stay with his company. Now they want me to buy them out to switch services.

They have a clause in their contract that requires you to stay with them for six years!!! STAY AWAY!!!!

Here you go. They have a new TSRE Program were they take 6% off the gross.

Take there commission off the gross. So client are paying the Wash Multifamily Laundry System portion of TSRE portion and they raise the tenant $0.25 to offset the cost. So here is what that is looking like Gross Revenue 100.00 Wash Multifamily Laundry System commission 50.00 TSRE fee $100*6% 6.00 (Charge on gross. Mind you they took $50 for there commission and now charging client TSRE 6% for client and Wash Multifamily Laundry System portion) Giving the client 44.00 Is this legal?

I wonder if its even legal to change this way. Any attorney interest in looking into it if there is a case we are in.

I call Bull *** on this thread

New System Laundry doesn't operate in Las Vegas as the original post indicates. This whole thread should be shut down. Apparently they are targeting the wrong company.

New System is a local family owned company that has been around for 100 years in the Northwest. I think they are doing something right to stay in business so long. If they really are so bad they wouldn't have so many loyal customers and still be in business.

I know first hand New System is the most reasonable company in the business. If you have any issues they will work with you and make it right. The national companies will just hand you a bill and stick it to you, they just care about their bottom line. They don't care about you or their local reputation.

New System Laundry overcharged us, bad customer service

In 2007, I signed a contract with New System for laundry service for my restaurant. I needed about 200 small cleaning rags a week. The original contract quotes 13 cents a towel. I started noticing that the price kept creeping up. I called them and they would lower it back down, without giving me a credit for the overcharges. But, in a couple of weeks the price would *** up again, eventually getting to 68.00 a week, up from 45.00 a week. In 2008, they sent me a renewal contract, and I decided not to sign it, they never asked me to sign it or sent me any requests at all to sign the renewal contract. So, I thought that I was on a month to month with them. I tried many times to correct the overcharging, but finally in 2012 I had enough and decided to change companies to a new company that charges 30.00 a week for the same amount of towels. So, I called the new company and signed a contract with them. When I told New System to cancel service, they became really nasty and insisted that I stay with them, they even called the new company and told them that I was under contract with them and that they would sue the new company which caused the new company to cancel with me.

To date, I have paid New System $12,404.00 during the last 5 years. They say I have to pay for the next year and a half to complete my original contract signed in 2007..but I did not sign the renewal contract in 2008.

This company has terrible customer service and refuses to work with me and has impeded my business by threatening any company that I want to go with. The money I have sent them has more than paid for the towels and the cleaning of those towels. There is absolutely no reason why they are doing this to me except they are greedy and demanding and just plain mean.

I would strongly suggest to anyone who is looking for a laundry service to NOT choose New System, they only seem to care about taking as much as they can get away with and then binding you to a very tricky contract.

DO NOT USE NEW SYSTEM LAUNDRY...YOU WILL REGRET THE DAY YOU EVER CALLED THEM.

They are a rip off. We thought we were signing a 12 month contract but they hit us up for 60 and when we tried to break it because of poor customer service they threatened to sue... Do Not Use This Company.

New system might be the worst company I've ever worked with. Not just the boarder line criminal practices but add just plain rude on top of it.

We signed a contract and to be honest I just didn't look at it for a while and ask our accountant what is this $255 monthly charge. When he said New Systems I was confused and went back and check the orignal bill amount......148.0?? How, when, and where did this change I asked them. They said I can leave if I'm not happy.....in 13 months when my contract is up.

They did lower the bill back to 148 but no refund of the amount overpaid. I decided not to fight the fight but will be dropping them like Tyson, 11 months to go!!

New System Laundry LLC is a great company and one of the best family owned laundries here in the northwest. With innovations no one else has, new system prides themself in great quality products and great pricing.

They may not be the cheapest in the market but innovation and quality obviously comes at a price. People complaining about new system get over yourselves, you guys obviously screwed up and it's no ones fault but yourselves. There is only one person to blame which would be YOU! Sage LLC is a tiny company with no values rude to deal with and definitely don't act like a family run business like New System.

From the plant workers, drivers, sales and the owner they at New System act with a professional manner and respect. If you have an issue with your contract be reasonable and talk it out don't go bash them. Every single company has there ups and downs. Yes there are a few flaws with every company but hey today no one is perfect.

Bashing people and family run companies does nothing but make yourself look like a fool.

Overall New System has a great management team, great sales and the best drivers out there that act with a professional manner and give great quality products.

You are straight up rude whomever posted this.

New Systems is horrible. They put in sneak unsuspected surprises then if you want to get out of the agreement they sue you. cant wait till our contract time expires.

I am an attorney defending a case filed by New Systems. I am interested in speaking with any unhappy customer of New Systems regarding its business practices.

Thank you.

I too have been sued by New Systems Laundry. We did not know that someone who ran a spa business at the same location where we ran one after left had a 5 year contract with them.

We just paid them ourselves, but after a couple of years noticed additional charges like towel replacements and things we had cancelled were being charged. We told them to give us credit of which only partial was done. When they refused to match a bid from a competitor they sued us for the balance of the years on the other guy's contract.

We were willing to settle and pay all the outstanding charges we incurred but instead they demanded an additional $12,000 on the remaining months of this other guys contract. They are bad news

Hi Tim we working with new system and we are not happy with them and we want to break contract and they say we cannot break our contract. How come like that?

Guest

The same thing happened to us. Rather than trying to maintain their customers through good business practices, New System Laundry traps their customers into long-term contracts through automatice renewal clauses and verbal deceit.

Then they overcharge, charge for items you don't receive and charge you for the abused linen insurance and also the abused linen (the insurance is suppose to cover the abused linen). You go through your invoices, find this, they fix it, and then a few months later they start doing it again to see if they can get away with it. After you get tired of this practice (7 years later), they file a lawsuit against you.

Please post the names of companies that have had this similar experience. I would like to approach the Attorney General in Oregon regarding New System's practices, and the more companies I have for support, the better!

I totally agree.

New Systems overcharged us as well, then slipped in other charges and

now they are suing us for the balance of their 5 year agreement

I know of another company that did not notify them a full 90 days before the

renewal date, yet they are being held to the renewal. When presented with

a competing company's bid the manager essentially said we have you for a

higher rate, so we wont match it. so now its a legal battle

Guest

I think that you probably just did not read the contract that you signed most linen agreements have an auto renew if you do not notify them within a timely manner. I know that also most linen companies have price increases on a regular basis like every 6 months.

Usually that is in the contract though. You sure you did not just miss this information in the contract??

I too had a similar issue with new systems. We finally switched to Sage LLC. They are a local portland company and very good to work with.
