Ordered magazine on December 14, 2014 charged $81.04
Now by May 16, 2015, no magazine has arrived. Attempts to contact the company have been futile. Same experience as so many others; obviously a scam. Changed my credit card number so they can't take more money!!

They take $ and don't send magazine
I had the same experience as everyone else. They don't answer emails, when you call you get a recording, on their website all they have is a complaint form but you get an error message when you fill it out.

No magazines ever received
On January 25, 2015, I paid for a 2-year subscription to SyFy Magazine for a total of $40.90. The amount was debited from my checking account on January 28, 2015.
It is now April 25th and I have never received a magazine. You can't reach them online and I don't get any response from their "customer Service". After scanning the other numerous complaints, it is obvious that the company is a scan and needs to be investigated.
It doesn't appear as there was or ever will be any investigation. I cannot fathom why the Better Business Bureau or some other governing body is not able to remove them from selling online and implementing disciplinary action.

Orderd magazine did not come
I ordered the Artist's Magazine 55.93 and it did not come I ordered on American Express.I will never order another thing unless it is done through Pay Pal. I called and called and email and emailed and it did no good.
I have been trying to get my money back since December 2013 as it was a Christmas gift. I also have a charge of 51.12 from Bookmaster Dst. and I do not know what that is for. American Express will only dispute a charge for 60 days.
I live in Canada so I hope you take my complaint.

Mgazines oredered, not mailed
I ordered 4 "gossip" magazines in early July of this year and paid $434.80 to have them mailed to my Stepmother Barbara Fisher. To date not one of these magazines have been delivered or received.
They should have been mailed to Barbara Fisher % Powell House 806 W. Longhorn Rd., Room, 129, Payson AZ 85541. I realize I should have complained earlier but other personal problems have interfered and I have only now found the time to complain.
Please call me at 928-472-**** ASAP. I find this lack of service very upsetting and your method of letting customers complain lacking in consideration.

Order Placement Review
Placed an order and needed to change the address. Carol has not completed the order from 3 montbs ago and I have left several messages.
Ni one answers the phone ever. I will be calling credit card company to dispute charges.
Paid for 3 subscriptions - None received
I ordered three subscriptions from newmagazinecity.com online, as gifts for friends at Christmas. The confirmation email I received after ordering had a customer service phone number but this number was a disconnected phone number.
The number on the website goes to a general voice box and no one calls back, no matter how many messages you leave on it. None of my friends have received any magazines. Business is a scam and you will not receive anything even though you pay.
My credit card was processed and they received over $100.00 from me and never provided any service or product.
Magazine City has not processed my magazine order
On February 21, 2013, I ordered and paid for a magazine "Rifle Firepower." To date, I have not received the magazine. I also placed 2 telephone calls (5/29 and 5/31) to the customer service number (800 787-****)for Magazine City -- NO RETURN CALL.
In addition, I also sent an email message to the customer service email address on their web site outlining the issue -- still no answer. My sense is that this entity is little more than a scam. I'm contacting my credit card provider to share the issue with them.
What ever happened to honesty and integrity in handling online orders.

BUYER BEWARE !!!! DO NOT ORDER FROM THE NEW MAGAZINE CITY!!!!!!
They take your money and never process the orders. Placed quarterly magazine order in August 2011 for ADDitude Magazine and it is still not processed. THEY CHARGED THE CREDIT CARD RIGHT AWAY!!!! They do not answer inquiries either, online and the phone number just hangs up on you.
I have contacted the magazine publisher directly and they are looking into the matter as well.
The publisher says that they should have definitely received the order by now and that they are not familiar with Magazine City. Buyer Beware magazine websites that have magazines listed may not be authorized to actually sell the magazine.
Magazine City is a SCAM
I ordered a gift subscription for my boyfriend in July of 2011, he has not received one issue yet. I paid for the magazine through Paypal and they nicely took the money out immediately.
I sent numerous emails and received no response. They are theives who steal your money.
I complained with BBB in their state...they are from Charlottesville, VA...just log on to BBB.com....something has to be done to them...like shut down!!! They are getting away with this because everyone complains on these sites but how many go to places like BBB....its worth a try to shut them down.

I also waited EIGHT-NINE months to receive a magazine they charged me for. I found a local phone # to contact them at and they promised me a free magazine for my troubles.
I ended up reporting them to the BBB after the magazine itself told me that four months in, they hadn't received my subscription or payment from the new magazine city. BBB allows the company to respond. They responded that they had already been in contact w me, and were giving me a free magazine for my troubles. After that, BBB allows the complaint to be closed, merely because they responded.
Didn't matter that what they said was lies. No, I never did get that free magazine.
I did get the original magazine on the 9th month after several back & forths with the magazine subscription themselves. I also don't understand why the BBB doesn't do more and doesn't allow rebuttal of the company's response.
