New Image Construction

I worked for the company for a few years and we always finished the jobs we started but on another note it has been six years since I did work for this company and I am still owed back pay on a job and would like my money.

We have been made aware of a complaint made about Mitchell Shope and New Image Construction posted on this website and wish to respond on the behalf of Mitchell and his company. The statement made is contrary to the opinion of the homeowners to which the post is obviously about.

Mitchell Shope is an honorable man and a personal friend of our family. There were extinuating circumstances beyond his control while he was working on our house. He did honor the original contracted amount for the job. It wasn't until 2 other unscrupulous, criminal minded persons became involved that the money & materials disappeared.

If it had not been for Mitchell we would have never been able to have this work done to begin with. He worked with us and let us pay for the labor in small draws that we could afford. It was to our advantage even if it was going to take a little longer to finish. He was hospitalized during this time and then had some personal issues that prevented him from working.

He came to us as soon as he was able and our project is progressing as planned. He is helping us to recover from what was done by others and has not asked for any additional money to finish the job. He did a bathroom remodel for us for a fraction of what other contractors were asking. He is knowledgeable, impressively skilled and trustworthy.

We wouldn't hesitate to use him again. That post is malicious, damaging and riddled with misinformation and should be removed. We would say to anyone who sees it to disregard the comments made. It is our opinion that it was a deliberate attempt to create a division between New Image Construction and client.

Mitchell is a hardworking man of his word and will do a good job for anyone seeking home repair or construction. He can do about anything.

Give him a chance.

lets start off by saying if you are going to post a complaint get all your facts straight. First of all do not pose as a homeowner when you are not.

I have nothing to hide so lets start,yes i went to jail because i was having surgery an the paper work did not make it to the court in time so i missed a court date. i was in constant contact with the home owner via mail.while i was in jail two people went to the homeowner posing as contractors and filtered the home owners for money and stole materials off the job.To those 2 people whom posed as New Image Construction all i can say to you is that was wrong and if you have a heart you should feel guilty and ashamed.but god loves you.now as for the job it is being and has been totally to plans that were drawn bye me and approved bye the county.all work is progressing,and the homeowners are happy with the work.god never gives us more than we can handle and with him all things are possible.I am no *** artist and i will defend myself and my company.

Mitchell Shope & Nicole Shope aka Nicole Romano aka Nicole Hurd dba New Image Construction LLC in Gulfport, MS were hired to put Hardie

Siding on our house and add porches on 2 sides of it. Work began in July 1014 and as of January 2015 is still incomplete. We paid for the

siding, all material for the porch including the metal for the roof. He never brought the metal roofing to the house. He said there was someone

painting the siding for him and it would be delivered. We never got the siding. We found out that he took our money and never ordered these

materials. On December 9th he was arrested on bad check charges & at this time is in Harrison County jail. Meanwhile the beadboard and

particle board he put on the porch roofs is being ruined by the weather. He never called for an inspection and we are pretty positive that most

of what he did isn't up to code. He and his wife Nicole are *** artists. They are very convincing *** artists. Nothing they told us was true.

Please beware of this company. They will take your money and leave you with a disaster to deal with.
