New Era Roofing Reviews

We had the back roof line of our house redone after some leaking through the ceiling. Very slow to get on their schedule and I had to call repeatedly to get the work done. After the roof work was done we wanted our ceiling repainted and the kid they sent was rude and disrespectful. Later we were having more leaks in another part of the roof (which we had told New Era about but they refused to address). I finally called another company who sent someone. They discovered that New Era had not finished the original job and had left regular shingles, not ridge line shingles, across our ridge line. When confronted they continued to lie about it.

Hello anonymous. I'm an investigator hired by a gentleman in Topeka who felt taken by Beau the owner of New Era Roofing for work poorly completed. I have followed this company since 2014. There have been numerous complaints made against this company from different cities in Kansas. I had the opportunity to speek with Nathan the salesman that was never compensated for his work. He in fact was charged with a DUI driving a company vehicle. I find it unethical though to not be paid for services even for an infraction such as this and especially for the monitory amount owed. The claims made by Cody Bruce against Nathan regarding a drug offense was totally false. In fact Cody was a salesman who had been convicted of hurting a young man severely in a bar fight in Lawrence. Also I do believe Nathan has joined a very large Comercial roofing company out of Kansas City and has moved on with his career. I have spoke with the department of labor and the attorney general in early 2015 which at that time was doing there own investigation. Even the secretary of this company has two felony charges in Johnson County for embeselment and computer fraud from a prior employer in the medical field. I feel it necessary for homeowners to do there research on companies to be able to make wise choices on contractors they choose to hire. Hopefully justice is served for the ones who have been taken by this company. I personally would not hire any one of these people mentioned to work on my property. I'm positive I will get the opportunity to investigate this company again knowing there history.
