Never do business with New Country Lexus in Latham NY

Lexus dealerships normally have a certain standard of excellence. I assure you that this one does not. In fact, the body shop services many different types of cars and lacks the experience to work on a Lexus. They left numerous parts damaged and when I found out and noticed it, they denied that it was their fault, claiming in the weeks that I had it that "anything could have happened" and it's not their responsibility once the car leaves the shop.

I took it to another dealership with Master Lexus Service Mechanics and they confirmed what I found...shoddy service, cover ups, over-charges and a serious lack of excellence in workmanship.

After denying any responsibility or offering any resolution, they offered to have me pay for a diagnostic and fix any mistakes at regular rates. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. They denied that it was their responsibility and offered me to fix the car at regular rates. My response was, I don't think you will be touching my car again. Arrogance, lies and inexperienced body shop mechanics work here and if you are smart you will take your business elsewhere.

A Lexus dealership with a used car sales mentality.

New Country Lexus Albany

Do not buy a Lexus, certainly not at New Country Lexus in Albany NY>

Brought my Lexus, in mint condition, to the New Country Lexus dealer for one of its many recalls. When I went to retrieve my car, found $1350 worth of damage to the front of the hood. The New Country Lexus dealer first said I brought the car to New Country Lexus with the damage and the area was rusty. The previous day, as luck would have it, I had had the car inspected--no damage.

Next, the New Country Lexus dealer said someone else did it. the New Country Lexus dealership would report it to the police. They never did. Finally, New Country Lexus said it was my problem. I left the car to be repaired.

Lexus backed the New Country Lexus dealership which refused to pay for the damage. My late husband and I had purchased 3 new Lexus cars from the

New Country Lexus dealership. Never again.

Steer clear of Lexus and absolutely do not go to New Country Lexus.

I purchased a 02 e320 from New Country Lexus of Latham. As part of the deal they where to fix the rust spots on the 2 front fenders and also the bottom of the 4 doors and around the trunk lock .When I said I would not take the car. The sales manager told me the car would be fixed like new .

I really loved the car and said ok. I have excellent credit And got financed easily. when I went to get my car I had a fit. My car had over spray every where the wheel wells where silver and the bobbles where painted over said what the *** is this after I ranted and raved and refused to take the car the sales manager said o my we will fix the car right please don't get upset.

I needed the car for work so they gave me a car to use.The second time I attempted to get my car it looked OK After 5 months the rust came through both fenders as well as the trunk.I went to talk to the Gm to see if he was a man ho stood by the cars he sells .He told me they would not fix it I told him it waspart of the deal and I expected the car to be repaired the right way and it was not .my car has such a bad Rust on the fenders it now has *** in it . You shouldnt have bought a car with rust on it, completely your fault.

And no, I do not work there. I just think people like you need to start learning from life experiences instead of blaming everyone else.

In case you missed what the lesson was... DON'T BUY A CAR WITH RUST, PERIOD. It will never go away unless you replace the panel/metal that is rusted.

Chances are if you are buying a car from someplace, and they are paying for it, it will be done as cheap as possible since they still have to make a profit on the vehicle.
