Inability to get approved through Netvendor lunacy

AI Highlights
  • Insurance document requirements are prohibitive and typos cause delay.
  • The process has dragged on since 8/25 with weeklong reviews and exemptions.

I have been trying to get approved as a vendor in order to do work for a company that is requiring me to work with them. The insurance document requirements are prohibitive and any minor typo becomes another mountain to get over.

After having the insurance agent make the change and resend it, it them takes at least a week for them to review, not their stated 24 hours.

I speak with NV multiple times a week and recently had to drop my new GL carrier, NEXT, because they could not generate the exactly worded form NV was looking for. Money wasted. A couple people that I spoke to at NV said they would go to the company I wanted to do work for and see if I could get an exemption on a certain form - so I asked them to. Then the relationship holder for the company, AIR Communities, flat out refused to reach out to them to inquire about it.

Netvendor (NV) is beyond frustrating to work with and are an unreasonable roadblock to doing business for many vendors. This has been going on since 8/25 and here I am in 5/26.

The absurdity of working with them is causing me brain damage! On an up note - even when there are 120 callers in queue, if you have them call you back, it usually happens.

Loss:
$120
Cons:
  • Entire process to become a vendor

User's recommendation: Not recommended but you have no choice and are screwed

Lack of customer service.

  • Two weeks of constant calls yielded little response while spending money on COI/WC submittals for a faulty system.

It has been about two full weeks of continuous calls and wasted company time trying to get someone on the phone or a decent response via email. The fact that we have spent a decent amount of money being forced to use this company for COI/WC submittal is ridiculous considering they aren't available to ever help with their faulty system.

Preferred solution: A response would be a great start. I am trying to be in compliance with all that is requested and am unable to get any assistance.

User's recommendation: If you could find away to not have to deal with this company, I would highly suggest doing that.

  • Tried to reach Netvendor for 7 business days with long holds.
  • Voicemails aren’t returned; COIs rejected without explanation.

I have been trying to reach someone from Netvendor for 7 business days at this point. Your phone system keeps me and my company employees on hold for 15 mins and then forces us to leave a voicemail that never gets returned.

Im failing to see the service here. My company loses compliance today because I cannot get anyone from netvendor on the phone to explain why they keep rejecting the 20+ COIs theyre receiving. Im not sure why Im paying netvendor at this point.

If I cant actually call a company and get a call back, Im questioning the legitimacy of netvendor. This is a desperate attempt to actually get some customer service.

User's recommendation: The customer service can be this poor because this is a forced business relationship

I have also beer dealing with the same scenario but it has been about two full weeks of continuous calls and wasted company time trying to get someone on the phone or a decent response via email.
