Nelson Alexander Northcote - Avoid at all costs
I had the misfortune to deal with these agents in regard to a leased property. Without doubt they were the worst and laziest agents I have ever dealt with. So much so it cost me large amounts of money and I could NEVER advocate anyone using this agency.
One might think that all this is down to a poor property manager, and perhaps this is true? However, when I escalated this there then came outright lies, and yet more ineptitude.
Finally when I attempted to contact the principal of the agency about the issues, I was completely ignored and didn't even receive a call back.

Rude rental agents
As potential new co-tenants, my friend and I put in full applications for a rental property with a Nelson Alexander agent (Northcote branch) on the day of the OFI. I made 2 phone calls in subsequent days to follow up and left polite messages requesting the outcome of our application. No reply by agent, then they listed another OFI...! The place is now leased without us ever hearing back. I consider this unprofessional and just plain rude.
(By the way, we both have solid work and rental histories - not that the lack of these would be an excuse for treating tenants like ***.)
Kicked out of car space
Lease agreement was with car space and agent has ecofed to take it away 3 months later

I have had the same experience, now on two occasions! I feel powerless, as i would love to leave a complaint at their office but fear in the future i may need to apply for a rental through their agency.
