Terrible company

I’m very unhappy with the service I had yesterday: 1- I was charged $10.99 extra for paying by phone, because the technician didn’t know how to use his tablet and check me out. He asked me to call and pay instead, and they charged me extra for doing that. 2- when I asked them to leave before they started to work on it, because I have extended home warranty, they said that I can submit the invoice and get reimbursed. I did believe them, being supposedly a respectful company, and let them install the new system. I called American shield and spoke with more than 1 supervisor, and they all told me that they won’t reimburse me, because I didn’t go through them first, and it only would’ve cost me $100 through them, since I pay them monthly fee. So I ended up paying 3 times more than I was supposed to, because your guys weren’t honest with me. Why did your guys lie to me? Just for me to give them the job???? 3- the technician refused to program my old remote and the keypad for me, before he left. He said that it’s too easy to do. Just hit the learn button, then the remote key and it will work. I spent over an hour trying and couldn’t get it to work. I called customer service. They talked to me with a very poor attitude, and gave me guardian phone number,’ stating that they know nothing about that. I called guardian, they said that the old remote and the keypad are not compatible with the new board, and I have to buy new ones. Why your tec didn’t explain all that to me? What a terrible company and a horrible experience I had! Not happy at all! If any of the guys up in the company care, of course!

Ripped off replacing door springs

I called neigbourhood garage door services and they sent technician in next 2 hours. Technician didnt measure the broken spring and quoted $720 for work. I handed over the service fee and asked him to leave. Minutes later i got a call saying we can do the call from the company and said they can do tbe job in $375 and include rollers. I said yes and the guy came back with sptings that looked used. Whrn j asked he said thry are new but didnt had anything to show for that. After the job was done - th opener wouldnt respond and he said my opener motor is broken. My guess is the spring job wasnt done right andI paid 375 + tax and still.dont have the functional door. Please stay away from this company. their number in seattle 206565****.
