have had some issues with this dealer ship (Neddy's)., In the past .I have deleted my previous post As It was more positive than I feel was deserved, Now today friday sept 29th 2023,I find myself arguing pointlessly with Mike. As ( he has already decided).and ..what ever happened to the adage"customers always right.
"Rhetorical I know . A component on my Santa Fe quit.I brought the car in to them to DIAGNOSE the problem. The Result; The Switch to activate the fuel door actuator is dead. okay.next - service tech tapes.the door catch with a ball of tape to keep it in a closed position (he kept that part to himself.).
But he gave me the keys.And I was sent on my way okay!-. they will call when the switch arrives. Okay-so now I need to fill up with gas. gas filler door is flapping in the wind!
Pull-up to the pump. The filler door is partially open, my finger pulls it open enough to get at the filler. The ball of tape is wedged against the actuator pin the pin snaps off. actuator is now dead.
.Now they need to replace a part. That wasn't even part of the problem at all! And I need to pay. But I do get a discount on the part(yippee ) their cost price and free installation I guess it comes with free destruction!?
I should pay nothing.stay- tuned.-staff was great. Management needs a shakeup ,at least a course in customer relations,or logic
So Mike says,well "you pulled the door open ".you broke it!". how else could I fuel up.any ideas? May be I should've parked it in Deep River.
And they could have towed it back to their shop at their expense.
the man lacks logic! It was Like arguing with a 3year old Had I only known the situation I might have been able to work around it. .this is just stupid.
These guys are just wasting my time and money .everyone is a shyster.If you want to get your Blood Pressure up be sure to pay them a visit, it worked for me. no accountability I will go out of town for service next time
