Worst customer service ever!
The worst customer service ever! I recently moved into a new apartment and needed a really good interior clean and a new theme for my new home. I recently had pulled my back out, and just doing everyday tasks were exhausting. I figured an interior designer would do the trick. Neatfreaks has decent reviews so i went with them. When I called, the owner Tomi answered and made an appointment to see my place on a Monday (veterans day) at 3pm. The weekend passes and monday finally is here, I received a text message from Tomi explaining how she had family plans and she had to cancel on me. She asked me when i'd like to reschedule, I told her "Tuesday?". She declined and told me "Wednesday at 3:30pm would be best". I accepted and waited for Wednesday. Wednesday at 2:45pm I receive another text from Tomi. She said she is finishing up at another job and won't be able to make it until 5:00pm. Since I already had taken the afternoon off work this wasn't a big deal, but this adjustment made me cancel a 5:00pm appointment with someone else. Tomi texts me again saying it will more likely be 530, 545. Really?!? Around 6:15pm, Tomi finally shows up to look at my place. We go over ideas and pricing. She tells me she has clients Thursday and Friday, and that she will shop Saturday and send me pictures through email and text to see if I approve or disapprove with her ideas. Then, on Sunday she will come by from 4-8pm, start and finish the job. Sunday came, 4-8pm came and gone, no show on Tomi. I tried calling and texting for some type of confirmation, no answer. Around Midnight!!! I get a 10 text message explanation that her husband fell in the shower and she was at the hospital. She never told me how she was going to reschedule or make it right for me. I contacted her the next day asking when she would be able to actually make a time, commit to it, and actually start and finish the job. She told me to go find someone else to do the job and that she was to busy for another client. I explained to her about proper costumer service and proper time management and told her to have a nice day. later that night I got a voicemail from her HUSBAND asking me to stop harassing his wife and that she would not be doing my job anymore. He also, mentioned how Tomi told him I was in the military and that he figured he "out ranked me" and that I should "watch who I talk to and disrespect". 1.) If you make an appointment or promise a customer something, you honor and commit to it. If you some how can't or forget to do this. Apologize and ask how to make it right with the customer. Please don't forget that WE ARE PAYING YOU. 2.) Anyone that is in the military and tries to "muscle" there way around with there rank is a square and should really get some help. If you have a problem with someone then just man up and confront the person to get both sides of the story. This lady is simply over her head and needs some type of assistant. If you don't want your time wasted I suggest finding someone else for your interior design needs.
