Update by user Jan 20, 2012
It has been a month since I have written my review and I just wanted to post an update saying that I have sent at least 3 more emails demanding a response and they have all been ignored. It amazes me that people think it is okay to treat customers like this. With so many other cleaning services in NYC, there is really no reason to give them another chance.

I wish there was an option for zero stars. I booked an appointment with Neat Freak Cleaners through Lifebooker I have never experienced such horrible costumer service. A cleaner was supposed to show up at my apartment on November 9th at 8:30AM. I made the appointment over the phone and was sent not one, but two, confirmations of the time. The confirmation included the name of the cleaner - Julie, and a phone number along with my confirmation number. I waited until 8:45AM until I called the number in the confirmation email. I was already 30 minutes late to work due to their inability to show up on time. When I called the number it kept telling me the mailbox was full or would ask for my name and try to connect me. I then called the 1-888 number that is posted on their website. An operator answered saying there was nothing they could do but take a message for a manager. They were extremely unhelpful. I called a second time, spoke to a different operator, and was told the same thing. I left a message and they promised to have a manager call me ASAP. Never happened. Over the next few days I called at least 10 times, leaving SIX messages. Each time I was promised by the operator that they would put an urgent message out for a manager to call me back. In addition to the calls, I have sent two emails and sent a message directly through their information page on their website. No response. Over a month has passed and they have yet to address my complaint. It amazes me that a company like this can still be in business. Luckily, Lifebooker refunded my money, but I am still out of 45 minutes worth of wages since I kept waiting for them in fear that they would show up late and mark my voucher as being used. Every time I think about the situation I get furious and hope that they go out of business in the near future due to horrific costumer service.
