Y'all New Yorkers and Yankees think you got traffic problems, wait til you get down here...AND if you think yhe traffic itself is not a problem, wait til you BEGIN your move to North Carolina,, we started getting bills in the mail before we even MOVED here because evidently we drove in the wrong lane while house looking. I guess they expect you to squint and almost cause an accident by trying to read the fine print on their road signs while driving.
Such hypocrisy.
This purple state used to be known for decency and honesty. Guess the Queen city has fallen on hard times if she has to nickle and dime all her poor pions til their death.Dont

Suspect as scam
Poor Back Office Management - Lacking Basic Accounting Skills/Software
I believe I am at the point to where I'm developing PTSD every time we check the mail, anticipating ANOTHER bill. I think we're on # 4 or 5.
Currently, I'm disputing the latest for $2.77, which I already paid in April of this year. Somehow, it miraculously re-appeared as an amount I now owe, and NO ONE can explain why, just that it shows as a pending amount due and that I should pay it. If I thought paying it again would stop all invoices/bills, I would, hands down. With their track record, I'd just get another invoice in the mail 4 months later.
We have not used their tolls since Feb of 2023, and I can guarantee that we will NEVER use them again...! Sadly, some of their reps are kind and understanding and truly deserve to work for a better company.
- Toll lanes can provide quicker travel
- Horrible bank office resolution
Preferred solution: Resolution of amount owed to reflect as already paid in full.
User's recommendation: Avoid their toll roads AT ALL COSTS!!

For one year I owe 3,000$ that’s highway robbery!!
The charges from one exit to the next continue to rise. A complete rip-off !
No one should have to pay 3,000 per year for riding in the toll lane to and from work. Then they put a block on your tags, how do I get to work to pay nc quick pass???!!? . I hope I can get the bill paid and get back on the road.
In times where the cost of everything is so high, its very disheartening to see how this company works and will not work out payment plans or anything. In 2021 my bill was 700$. 2022 ****$ 2023 3,000$. If I making the same commute and paying at the same time each year, how is this possible?!?
Dont ride in the toll lane. It will cost
User's recommendation: Use in moderation, don’t use daily

I'd bet they were on 77. The dynamic tolls are posted at the prepaid account rate. They can pretty much charge whatever they want and your bill is gonna be 35% more than the signs if you don't have an account.
Your post does not add up. You say you have been making the same commute and 2021 total was $700 and 2023 is $3000(I assume this includes projected toll till end of year).
That’s a 328% increase for the same commute and the same number of trips. There is no way! Go back and look at yearly increases by the state. Was 2021 less commutes due to Covid?
Also $3000 at a 50 week work year(2 weeks vacation) works out to $12/day. Six dollars each way to and from work.
What toll road? And where are you entering and exiting?
