Beware of scam involving NationalOnlineYellowPages.com
Beware of possible scam and poor business practice of selling advertising by Gordie with NationalOnlineYellowPages.com.
Their representative, Gordie, will call and ask a receptionist to "verify" company information. Once information is verified, they will send an invoice for online advertising. Make sure all purchases are done with purchase order numbers, by authorized individuals.
If you have trouble dealing with this company, be sure to contact the Better Business Bureau in your area. File a complaint as soon as possible. If necessary contact a business advocate attorney. Keep records of all phone calls, faxes and paperwork. NationalOnlineYellowPages.com is not
affiliated with the Yellow Pages. They may call on
unknowing individuals or company employees to
be outsmarted by their unethical business practices.
Do not pay for advertising that you do not authorize
or order. Make them provide proof of an order
with your signature for verification.

To me this is a scam - i went to thier website and did a search of local businesses, and nothing comes up. I did a search from florist to transportation and then by specific names in our business community.
NOTHING! I am still waiting for a call back from the number.
The thing that caught my eye was the fact that they were asking for services already rendered through out the previous year. NO ONE does something for free.
I too thought that may secretary was scammed as she alleged. After contacting the National Yellow Pages Online, I found out that she tried to pull a fast one over on me. She did indeed order the advertising for my company. At first I too was pissed, but in the last 2 months, I received just 4 calls of people seeing my ad up on their site which has generated business for my firm.
Thank you Mary (my sec.) and National Yellow Pages Online!
