National Transmission,won't return vehicle

I drove my vehicle to national transmission on July 23,2010. I went in to get a transmission tuneup for $250. I was in the customers lobby waiting on the repair to be completed. He came out stating that he took the transmission apart and was going to rebuild it. i informed him that's not what he was suppose to do.He said to get it back i must pay $3811. i am currently taking this business to court, i have been without a vehicle for 3 months, they are attempting to get the title and take ownership of the vehicle.

Transmission repair can cause a lot of anxiety for most people. That's because it doesn't usually happen too often, and when it does, it means The client of the NATIONAL TRANSMISSION is being asked to spend a lot of money for a problem that The Client probably don't understand all that well. There's no doubt about it: Transmission repairs can be expensive. But it's not so much money when The Client of NATIONAL TRANSMISSION consider what's involved in the repairs. Today's automatic transmissions consist of several hundreds of parts. During a major repair, each one is removed, cleaned, and inspected to exacting tolerances. Any worn or damaged parts are repaired or replaced. Each subassembly must be adjusted, and tested for proper operation. Then the subassemblies must be assembled into the transmission case, where the adjustment and testing procedure begins all over again.
