National Indoor RV Centers - Bad experience!
Updated by user Aug 15, 2023

This is a long review, hope it is read and helps other people understand this company. I have a 2005 Beaver Santium 40ft diesel pusher and have been having issues with the front driver side windshield lower corner popping out, it broke this last time this happened and needed a new one installed.

I found National RV center online and I have also seen that they do renovations. I called and talked to a service advisor about my issue, he told me he was aware of those issues with this rig and there body shop will fit the new windshield and do necessary structural repairs if needed before setting the new windshield. I was also told by another service writer that there would be someone to talk to about the renovations I wanted done. Ok so I fueled up my rig made the 450 mile one way trip to Lewisville arrived and spoke to Adrian showed him the issue with the glass and showed him the renovations I wanted done and told him to give me a call when he has an estimate.

Well that's when the problem started could not get call back or estimates *** I could not get a live person unless I called parts or sales only to be transfers to a voicemail. I finally got to talk to a nice lady who informed me they had a outside guy come in and install my windshield I was pissed, I told her that the windshield would pop out she said she would have the service advisor call me and again that never happened so after multiple calls I was able to somehow get the service advisor on the phone he assured me that this guy was the best. Ok Im am a Master Automotive tech for over 40 years and have operated my service facility for over 40 years Im not a expert on glass but after 3 attempts by other glass companies you know you have a problem I tried to express this to Otto the service advisor. I hate to say this company is the worst but if I had to rate them as the worst they get 5 stars.

Also they don't do renovations and I was asked where I heard that from by there service manager I told him from your website and your service advisor thinks you do also I guess the owner doesn't even look at his own website. Ok its time to pick up my rig asked multiple times to get it washed at least but there again we will call you back and that never happens. Ok go to pick it up on my 800 plus mile round trip get there the rig isn't washed I just want out of there. Drove out get on the highway and I notice I have a bad wind noise at the windshield didn't make it but 200 miles before the whole left side of the windshield had pulled completely out.

I'm now stranded on the side of the road in 105 degree temp. I called National indoor and a person answered and I told her was happened se transfer me again to service managers voicemail I made several attempts after that and could not get a human to answer the phone. I finally was able to get ahold of Otto the service advisor. Otto told me to drive it back to them I laughed and said are you serious I'm 200 miles away and its not safe to drive back through Dallas traffic I told him he needed to send a tow truck at there expense, again he said he would call me back.

After a hour no call back I decided to drive it home keeping my speed a 45 with a lot of pissed of drivers behind me. I have been in a lot of great shops met some of the best technicians out there. Speaking as a business owner this place is a complete joke and I wouldn't let them touch my Rv. You would be better of taking it to a body shop /mechanic that's never worked on a class A you'll get way better service than these unprofessional people running this place.

As for the one star for this company you can take it and stick it where the sun don't shine. Also for the auto reply that will come from the owner don't insult me by giving me a number to you voicemail your a disgrace to the RV industry.

Great sales organization, weak service folowthrough

If you want a dealer with great sales knowledge of the product and honest sales practices, then NIRVC is a great place. But if you want warranty service to follow through, find someplace else.

The sale is great, the Finance department sucks, and warranty service is the worst.

I Purchased a $600K 2022, Entegra Cornerstone took delivery in March, and have 7 service receipts and most of the complaints have not been addressed. I'm sure Entegra got the bill but all I have to show is the waste of my time.

We didn't even get honest sales practice, and forget service. They made a horrible mess of replacing some cracked tiles, and reinforcing our full wall slide. The tiles are starting to crack again.

Unexplained eviction

New facility in 2019. I got a deal by paying upfront 18 months in advance.

Today I get a letter they have no more room for me. The place is full of 40 ft and bigger motor homes. Mine is a 41 ft 5th wheel. I was told it was all about algorithms.

Nobody could explain it. They sell more than they store, and I feel as though that is what they need the space for. Excellent facility, great valet service full body shop and service. Not very pleased with service though.

Solar had never worked since I bought it new in 2019, was told about 1000 to fix. I took a panel off and found a wire incorrectly hooked at the controller.

Saved 1000. Beware!

DONE with Atlanta NIRVC

Original review Dec 19, 2020

Drove all night to look at a coach, 2019 Ventanna, looked at several coaches, decided on the 2019 Ventanna at 261K, Cash Deal. Before wire transferring the funds I requested to drive the unit.

The low fuel light was as the coach required to be fueled prior to test drive. I waited over an hour and a half for someone to fuel said coach so i could test drive before wire transferring the funds. As i sat there waiting, i noticed my salesman driving other customers around on his golf cart, showing more coaches to other potential buyers. I had enough of their BS and left, drove 10 hours home.

I continued my search for a motorhome and found one at the Arizona location, My salesman was Connor May, he would be glad to help me out and apologized for the way i was treated. I explained what had occurred and what i was looking for. Connor stated he could assist me no matter what National Rv center location i found my dream motorhome.

Fast fwd about 1 month, i found the coach i was looking for, at Connors location, i emailed him asap with questions, a week later i, yes i the customer did a follow up, i hear nothing. Now i get an email three additional weeks later from another salesman stating he would take care of me, but the coach was transported to Atlanta and sold!

I HIGHLY recommend anyone looking for a motorhome, deal with a more reputable business when spending a large sum of money ELSEWHERE

Shady sales practices-and did not honor warantee

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I bought a used RV from National Indoor RV Center GA.

1) They promised to send me new LED light strip for burned out one in owning. 3 months later I don't have it. They did not provide a winterization kit. 2) 1st time I tried to use it, it wouldn't go over 40 so I had it towed to dealership and fixed. Also replaced airbag that had been recalled. Had to cancel my camping trip.

3) Next time I used it, door would not open to back and I had to go in and out passenger door. I had been unable to open it at dealership and tech said just pull it harder. In truth the mechanism is bent. IDed this under 90 day warantee--they agreed to fix it and a broken valve but still have not.

4) Unhappy with the vehicle, I asked to trade it for a van valued 10 k less than mine and offered $1000 for their paperwork. They said in the 90 days I owned it -the value fell from 85k to 50k for trade-in value. (A local dealer offered me 70k in trade-in value on buying a similar van. You would think they would want to have satisfied customers.

5) They were supposed to get my license plate--after 3 months they sent paperwork to me to take to the DMV saying it would take 2 more months if they did it.

6) I left messages for manager to discuss trade-in and items not fixed and he has yet to call me back.
