Verified ReviewerPayoff $ is the same today as it is if I stay until November if 2027
- - Enrolled with National Debt Relief 2 years ago; paying $789/mo through Nov 2027.
- - Left $26k; wants to pay today, but payoff stays the same and on hold.
I enrolled with National Debt Relief two years ago. I pay $789 monthly until November of 2027.
There is no fee to pay off early. I'm finally on my feet and I have $26,000 left to pay if I stay until November 2027. I want to pay it off today and that number should be dramatically lower because I'm saving the interest and the NDR fees.
When I tell them this, they say the number is still the same. That's when I get put on hold indefinitely.

- - Took $1,150 for 7 accounts; only settled 1, paying $320 of $575 fees.
- - The other 6 accounts untouched; advised not to pay to show hardship.
So far, they have taken $1150 from my account and have only "settled" with one of 7 accounts I have with them. For that single account, they have paid only $320 towards the settlement and have charged me $575 for settlement fees.
NOTHING has been done with the other 6 accounts and because they told me not to pay anything to them in order to show "hardship" I am now showing as over 90 days late on these 6 accounts and my FICO scores have dropped 150 points or more. I had NEVER been late on a payment in my life. I have tried to communicate with them, and they are impossible and once you do get hold of someone, they do all they can to keep the money in place for them or tell you that in order to have any more done that you need to have 25 - 40% of all your debt in their bank account. If I had that much on hand, I would never had need the service!
This insures that all creditors are dealt with consecutively and not concurrently insuring they make the most money as your debt will increase due to late fees, penalties and interest.
If you really wish to lose your money and have your credit status plummet, this is the way to go. If you want to keep your money, stay well away from this place

Why does NDR have an imbecile named Angelic serving as one of their spokespersons? She can’t pronounce the word drowning’ properly.
- - An NDRs agent was poorly informed and unintentionally discouraged me from doing business.
- - Ads in their main commercial hint at efficiency.
I spoke to one of NDRs agents who was poorly informed and unintentionally discouraged me from doing business with them! I should have known from the moronic spokesperson in their main commercial. Ads often are a barometer to the efficiency of a company.

Verified ReviewerLack of follow through
- - Loyal customer for almost 4 years but can't reach anyone by phone.
- - No follow-up, poor negotiation, accounts not settled; stay away.
Abysmal company. Loyal customer for almost 4 years, cannot get anyone on the phone but clueless CSR people.
Cannot negotiate well, accounts not settled, no follow up, no calls back. They are great at taking your money every month, Im not sure what else they do there.
Stay away, settle debt yourself, unless you want to spend your time holding their hands.
- No follow up
- Weak negotiators
Preferred solution: Deliver product or service ordered

Verified Reviewer |Taking money and not paying bills with it
- - June 2023 start; promised $789/mo, debt-free by Nov 2027.
- - Two of five got $100; three got $0; about $2,500 due.
- - No loan-dept call; widow needing help.
I started with National Debt Relief in June 2023. They told me it would be $789/monthly taken out of my checking account and Id be out of debt November 2027.
Thus far, two of five companies have received $100. And three companies have received ZERO dollars. I should mention that two companies are owed approximately $2500. each.
I was promised a call from their loan Dept and never received it. Since then Im getting the run around.
I wanted to do the right thing and this company is making matters worse. Im a widow and needed their help.
- Not doing as they advertised and help you with your debt
Preferred solution: My creditors paid with the money they’ve been taking monthly from my checking
User's recommendation: STAY AWAY! Once they start taking your money, you’ll see no progress and won’t be able to speak to anyone as to why. SCAM

Get out now before the wreck your score like they did mine. Their negotiation is a joke.
It consists of their “negotiators” telling the creditors that you don’t have the money.
Which you can do yourself. Reach out and settle yourselves don’t use these shysters
If you're using these people, your credit is already "wrecked." Them telling the creditors that you're broke helps you get a better settlement.
