Great experience
My carpets were severely in need of cleaning. They scheduled the appointment the same day I needed it and did a really good job..
By the way, part of the reason that I needed the service was my dog had urinated in one particular area of my living room and also in the dining room, another smaller area and it really smelled bad. The carpet technician, Matt(I think) worked really hard and did a great job. I asked him about what to expect and he told me up front that pet problems have different levels of severity, mine rated somewhere in the middle of the scale, not bad enough to require carpet pad replacement.
I will absolutely recommend them to family and friends. I will also tell them to ask for Matt, again I believe that was his name, he told me, It has slipped my mind.
National Carpet Care - Carpet Cleaning Service Review from Orlando, Florida
I bought a Groupon for cleaning my carpets. They told me they'll be here between 10:00 am -1:00 pm.
They arrived at 3:45 pm . I told them not to mind offering me any other services, that I was aware that my carpet needed more work, but right now I just wanted the basic cleaning that I pay for with Groupon. They didn't want to clean my carpet if I didn't pay for the extra treatments to my carpet. I told them that I just wanted what I had pay for.
They told me that they weren't going to clean my carpet. I called the office, spoke with the manager and explained him that it was at my discretion if I wanted the extra stuff and he said that if I didn't pay for the other stuff they weren't going to clean my carpet. We went back and forth and while he was screaming at me. Finally, after I've moved all the furniture and waited for them all day long, they just left.
I asked for a refund to the guy that was here and he said that it was at the discretion of the office.
I had to call Groupon to get my money back. They are just scamming people and selling the groupon for the visit.
Great service at a great price
I Had carpets deep cleaned and scotchgard applied in a repossession
that I purchased, the service saved me thousands in replacement cost. I see reviews where the people complaining aren't realistic and then blame everyone else, alas, a sign of our time.
National has serviced a number of my flipped properties, they are always fair and stand behind their work. the fair pricing that I received was far better than other estimates that I had gotten from other companies. In addition to the carpet cleaning I have had tile and grout cleaned and carpets restretched. I will continue to use a company that I can rely on and that has been quick to respond whenever I have called, usually fitting me into the schedule at my convenience.
The office staff has never been mean or ill tempered as stated in some other reviews.
I like these guys and I will continue to speak well of these hard working individuals.
Misleading Service...no cleaning
I bought a groupon to get my carpets cleaned. This company used a portable machine that did not clean my carpets.
No furniture was moved nor protective pads used. They of course said I had to purchase other services to "clean" my carpets. I was misled. Even though their website stated "guaranteed", when I called to express my dissatisfaction, no resolution was offered.
Poor customer service as well.
I will never use their carpet service again or any other service for that matter. I will continue to use a more reputable company in the future, one who will really guarantee their services.
- Quality
Substandard service
I called to have an appointment scheduled and a gentleman took my name and number to call me back. I did not hear from them and had to call again.
That should have been my first clue as to how unprofessional the whole thing was going to be. I have never had a company clean all 4 rooms in less than 10 minutes. The person cleaning went at warp speed and could not possibly have done a thorough job at that rate. There were 2 men and only one person was doing the job.
I had to watch the other person walk all over my upstairs in and out of my rooms until he finally got the message to wait outside. They did not bother to do the job thoroughly and take the time necessary to do a good job. I was informed that I needed a deep cleaning to take out stains, but I was also told that the stains were set and would not come out. So why would I pay for a deep cleaning if that was the case?
They dropped their wet equipment at the bottom of my stairs on the oak hardwood and I had to tell them to please move it outside the door (which was 2 feet away) so that the hardwood would not get water damage.
I will never use them again and make sure I tell everyone I know to not bother. It is a rip off.
Dirty Carpets, Terrible Customer Service
I have NEVER been more disgusted with a company in my life. I needed my carpets cleaned before having company for the Thanksgiving Holiday. I called National Carpet Care Inc, after receiving a receiving their flier in my local ValPac. I was quoted $89 for their "whole house special," and given an appointment "window" between 1-4PM the next day. The contractor showed up nearly TWO HOURS later than the latest time, nearing 6PM, with an over-sized Rug Doctor. The machine was a small portable that had to be dragged up the stairs. He also showed up in an unmarked car, with street clothes on; no uniform, whatsoever. Immediate payment was requested, before work was even started, which I found very unusual, but I was assured by the contractor that there was a money-back satisfaction guarantee, should the work be sub-par. My credit card information was also taken over the phone. This should have been my first clue something was not correct. I was also charged additional money for my hallways, as I was informed that they were "unusually large," as well as being charged nearly 50% of the ENTIRE bill for 15 stairs.
As the man showed up so late, I was forced to leave a roommate at home to appraise the final work, as I was going to miss an important appointment. About an hour after arriving, my roommate called to inform me that the man was already done, and wanted a signature on a "contract" that said I was happy with the work, and also included a hysterical clause at the bottom of the contract which basically states that if you sign the paper, you're not allowed to leave ANY sort of negative review or comment ANYWHERE online, or verbally about poor work done by this company. When I asked my roommate about the quality of work, he stated that they basically sprayed the carpets with cold water, and left them wet and as dirty as when they arrived. I instructed him NOT to sign anything.
When I returned home, the carpets were INDEED wet AND dirty. There was absolutely NO improvement in the carpets condition, AT ALL. Keep in mind I have NO pets, and the carpet is vacuumed, with a Dyson, 4-5 times a week, and professionally steam-cleaned at least 3 times per year.
I immediately left a message for them to call me in the morning. An hour after myself and my roommates went to sleep, the doorbell began going crazy, and there was a succession of loud pounding on the door. The SAME contractor that "cleaned" the carpets was there, "informing" me that my carpets were needing DEEP cleaning, and that he could do that for more than TRIPLE the originally quoted price.
I then called Cindy, as well as two of the managers at the office, requesting a refund. I was told that they could only help me if I paid the extra money for "deep cleaning," and that the service I had paid for was only a "light, maintenance cleaning." After nearly an hour of back and forth, Cindy FINALLY let me know that the SAME contractor, using the SAME, *** equipment, could do the SAME *** level of cleaning that he had done previously. Cindy, the managers, and the contractor talked in circles for nearing another hour, before I finally had to kick the contractor out of my house and hang up on her. I have since, filed a chargeback with American Express.
TRUST THE REVIEWS HERE, FOLKS. This company is BAD NEWS. They ABSOLUTELY DO NOT honor their supposed satisfaction guarantee. The managers are bullies/bullsh*tters, and the work is abominable. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Preferred solution: Full refund

Price Gougers/ Vert rude- National carpet care inc.
I had a quote over the phone to have one 10X10 room cleaned due to a pet accident. They quoted me on the phote of 55.00 I accepted and they came out to do the work.
When they arrived the young kid was not very pleasent and rewrote the quote for 128.95. He wanted 35.00 per pet stain. Two where the sizre of a apple. I had just had my carpets cleaned 3 days prior and he was not treating the whole room.
When my husband and I decided to cancel they charged me 25.00 for their time with quite the attitude and when I told him while he was writing up my new contract of 25.00 my husband called the original carpets cleaners and they said they would come back for 50.00 flat rate. The young man said because he was here now he would do it for 50.00 I told him to charge me the 25.00 and please show himself out..... Not polite at all from the get go and especially not at the end.
I will never reffer anyone to this company ever and the beach is a small tight community...
