I unfortunately did not do my research when I used this company. The customer service staff is very unprofessional and dismissive.

The multiple complaints posted are well-deserved. Buyers "beware", their antics toe the line of being a fraudulent company. This company has devised targeted practices to repossess ans resell cars under contract , slow to report accurate good credit, but seemingly finds a way to diligently report negative credit. Their expectation is to rush you into a car , receive your down payment , and anticipating any small mistake so they'er able to resell that same vehicle to a new customer the next day.

This company has mastered the art of deception & unethical business practices.

You have been WARNED. Do not do business with National Auto Lenders if you value your time , credit , and money.

Horrible

This company sent a repo company after my daughter car back in July 2016 and then they called 6 months later only to tell us the car was not repo and they don't have the car. We made a police report for a stolen car and now they are still harassing 2 YEARS later about a car that they don't know where it is and still putting the bad marks on the car and stating she still owe 13k.

Here is the killer part my daughter can no longer do for herself due to a car accident and the rep Brian told me to call back when she die. WOW but I have a attorney working on this for my child.

It is terrible that your daughter's vehicle was stolen. Having said that, it appears that the lender is only asking what your daughter promised, in writing, that she would do.

I'm looking at the contract that I have my customer's sign, and in the contract my customers agree to "You agree to pay us all you owe under this contract, even if the vehicle is damaged, destroyed, or missing" the contracts are pretty standard and are very similar across all 50 states. Your daughter is very lucky that all she's received are phone calls. I normally get these outstanding loan balances reduced to a judgement, and then have the court order that the debtor pay off the loan, voluntarily or not, even if it requires wage garnishments or the filing of a writ if execution. Writs allow me to have sheriff deputies seize property to be auctioned off and the proceeds applied to the loan balance.

Writs expire when the loan is paid off, or 10 years, but can be extended for an additional ten years to make it 20. Just be glad it's not me working the finance office.

Two late payments and I get my car repoed. Even after I called in to make sure I let them know those payments would be made on Saturday.

Did they take note? No. They also included into my account that I had no insurance for my car.

I have a child, I HAVE to have insurance for goodness sake. I'm fed up with this *** *** company.

I'm still a client.(3 years so far). Even though I'm not overjoyed about the finance rate (credit wasn't great), I have had late payments to them.

I don't avoid them, but I will let them know what is going on. They have worked with me and given me time. A few years ago, they had a new rep on the phone. She was brass and unlikeable (unlike my first rep.

He was awesome). I complained to the manager, and they reassigned me to another Rep who was super nice. I did appreciate that. My present rep now is nice as well.

As long as I communicate with them, they give me options if I hit a rough time. HTH

Even if you pay the late fees you may not know they are charging you more interest on the time you are late. I made all my payments and and paid all the late fees and I still owe another 1200.00 dollars in interest after pay 20,000 for the vehicle and 19,800 in interest..

so a 20,000 vehicle cost 41,000 with this auto lender.. now that my credit is good I would not recommend this lender..

Most AWFUL company - BEWARE

This company is the WORST finance company I've ever dealt with. In the beginning I asked for my due date to be 15th, as that was what my prior car was.

I was told I had to have 3 consecutive payments before due date can be changed (which hello how ***, do you WANT your money on time or not???). I've never had any other finance company have an issue doing it one time. But they tell me since I'm in KY I have 10 day grace period so as long as I pay by 16th no fees. Okay no problem.

Didn't even really bother changing the due date as I pay on 15th. More than 8 months no issues (was late 1 time as I forgot to go online and pay). Then in Dec start getting calls right before 15th saying I'm late and this is courtesy call yada yada. So I ask them to change my due date.

They tell me my payment will go up since I'm requesting more time . Any car finance I've had has always done through first change as a courtesy, and I've only been charged extra if I request to skip a payment or whatnot. Then I'm told that for every day I'm late I'm being charged some daily interest that I was not informed of. The very rude CSR says "you should have read your contract not my problem".

I ask him to escalate, he refuses saying I have no need to he can help me and he's not able to escalate without a valid reason. The rudest most unhelpful and least customer service I've ever seen from a company. Not to mention it was SEVERAL months in the beginning that I had issues because they couldn't keep anything straight with my insurance. Harassed both myself and my insurance company for almost 3 months.

Stay away from this place and if you get a CSR named Angel, just hang up and call back at another time. He will harass and mock you and be rude as ***.

First of all, I'm not a deadbeat and I pay my bills on time. I have always been given the option of the due date when purchasing any other cars, or have been allowed at least one time to be able to change the due date without any penalties.

So you can just screw yourself with your "deadbeats game" and what not. The reason for asking for a change of the due date, (not that it's any of your business in the first place) is based on my pay schedule. I get paid twice and month and the way the due date falls, does not allow for me to pay when they want the "original" due date.

Hence, yes it's technically late since they will not allow me to make the payments based on my pay schedule. So again go *** your self you low life {{Redacted}}.

THE GAMES DEADBEATS PLAY...

What you're admitting here is YOU are constantly late and YOU want to play the "change the due date" whining deadbeat game. A grace period DOES NOT change the due date.

Paying after the due date means paying late, even if it's within the so-called grace period. One of the familiar games serial deadbeats play is to cry and whine because the lender won't agree to play the "change the due date game". If the due date is changed, after a little while the wailing, whining deadbeat will want to change it again. The lenders are on to this deadbeat game and when they won't go along with it, the wailing deadbeats come to websites like this to cry and whine it's all the lender's fault because they, themselves are late.

It's all perfectly from the deadbeat's playbook. No, I don't work for them!

Great Experience

I had a loan with NAL and was extremely satisfied with their customer service. I was always treated fairly and the staff was very courteous at all times.

they don't own up to their mistakes,they add on extra charges to your account and supervisors are rude, poor customer service, they don't check into your account to see what the problem is, they are careless and insensitive to your compliants, the supervisors don't call back when they say they are, they are a bunch of liars, they take weeks to look into your issues, they have no sympathy, they write things on your account without knowledge of knowing, the supervisors are rude and could care less and they you on another representative that has no clue of whats going on

If you want to add credibility to your writing, learn what second and third graders already know...things like writing in complete sentences; using punctuation marks and sentence structure. This is the 21st century. There is ZERO EXCUSE for anyone to "write" using one long, run-on sentence, unless appearing illiterate is one of your strong points!

The Worst Finance Company Ever

I purchased a suv 2 years ago I go to trade it in and the dealership calls to get the payoff is transferred 5 times. They come back with a payoff that is the exact amount I financed 2 years ago!

Is that even possible? I financed the vehicle for 4 years. If the payoff is the same as the finance amount how in the *** am I going to have it paid off in 2 more years?? Dealership said that there was no way it should be that high after 2 years and only having 2 years left to pay.

Now because if the negative equity no other finance company will approve financing. So fed up with this company!!!

Rude customer service plus they do not speak english nor do they know what they are talking about when you or in my case a dealership call to get information. BBB do something please.

All I got to say National Auto Lenders are a bunch of crooks and I advise everybody to stay awake from them. They are a bunch of schemers.

I been paying on a car for 3 yrs trying to pay it off early and they give me the same price if I pay it off two years later. Why are y'all trying to charge me interest to pay it off early.

I GOT A FAMILY MEMBER TO LEND ME THE MONEY SO I CALLED BACK AND TOLD ANOTHER RUDE GIRL THAT I COULDN'T MAKE THEY PAYMENT BEFORE THE TIME THEY CLOSED WHICH WAS 8 PM BECAUSE I HAD TO GO TO FT. LAUDERDALE TO PICK UP THE MONEY BUT THAT BY 9PM THE PAYMENT WILL BE MADE AND SHE TOLD ME THAT IF BY 8 PM THE PAYMENT WASN'T MADE SHE WAS GOING TO MAKE SURE MY CAR GOT REPO. I WAS SO DEPRESSED I COULDN'T SLEEP, ALL NIGHT I HAD TO LEAVE MY CAR AT A FRIENDS HOUSE IN THERE GATE UNTIL THE NEXT DAY.THEY HAVE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! I RATHER WALK THAN TO EVER GET A CAR LOAN FROM THEM AGAIN!

There are many valid reasons why people go delinquent or have their car repossessed. As a banker it offends me when people, especially other bankers, insult people who are late and call them deadbeats.

It is in the nature of the lending business that not all of your loans will not be repaid.

That is the challenge to banks.

Harping on "deadbeats" is not only needlessly insulting, but displays a fundemental misunderstanding of how lending works. It would be like casinos calling their winners "*** holes" or "low life gambling addicts."

That deadbeat term is really messed up, you obviously are affiliated with national in some way shape or form. Seems like your taking these reviews very personal!

I am a new customer with them and from day 1 its been nothing but ***. They are very unprofessional.

After my loan was approved they were faxed over all of need info, they then turned around and held my tag transfer pending phone interview, which they already had done. My insurance info was lost. etc...

That place is horrible, you call they hang up in your face, they're rude, unprofessional. so Anonymous instead of trying to defend them and degrade us what u need to do is have your staff retrained!!
