National American Miss - NAM Rank Scoring at National
Many NAM-scoring complaints are noted in several reviews. As the author the Producing Beauty Pageants series, by Anna Stanley, I have spent nearly 10 years investigating the top-producing pageants in the U.S. Allow me to feature an except from from my upcoming book,...

National American Miss - Hard to contact phone/Email

Called and emailed days almost a week now and no respond whatsoever from anyone. As a NAM pageant HQ there should be people who work there to answer any calls. They're starting to disappoint me, my family and friends.

National American Miss - Disgusting—-they need to be closed down

Just finished with my daughter’s first and last ever pageant—-princess category. I was very disappointed by the mean staff. They look at you as if you are not welcome. Judges are awful. They don’t know judging at all. The most confident girl does not get anything and the one who does not know to speak becomes the winner. This pageant is not about being confident but it breaks your confidence. When one who deserves does not make it to the stage her confidence breaks. It is a pathetic and disgusting program. Would never advise anyone to go for it.Nobody should give them the right to decide who is pretty and confident.

My 16 year old daughter was selected as a "State Finalist" which made her feel valued. When we went to the training for "State Finalists" we were charged $275 (half of the fee to be a contestant, which they call sponsor fee). To participate in the actual "pageant" the...

National American Miss in Elmer, New Jersey - Not worth it—-very unfair.

Just finished with the state pageant in Birmingham. Found it to be money making scam. Very unfair system. No training which they claim money for. Very unfair judging. The deserving do not make it to top 10 but the ones who do not know to even speak a sentence make it there. Would never recommend it to anyone. They need to stop doing this.

We are currently at the Alabama pageant in Birmingham and while my daughter is having a good time I feel it is a money racket. She got her packet in the mail a couple weeks prior to the pageant but that did not allow for time to raise the money for photos and dvds. I...

National American Miss - There was no answer I have to call back tomorrow

I was wondering if my Daughter is still able to be in the pageant prep, on our way other to the pageant we were in a car accident. That why she was not able to make it we had to go to the hospital.

My daughter competed in NAM 2 years in a row. Back in 2013 and 2014 I believe. The first year she had fun. We did all the extra stuff. Like in other post I will say it was a bit misleading as far as what to be prepared for. Although I bought my daighter some super cute...
