I went on to get the program but saw that it was not for me.

I could not believe that these people lied and lied and took my money and now I reported them to the BBB and to the FTC got nowhere with any of those but at least they know what is going on. I am very upset if anyone else knows how to retrieve your money back please let me know. This is ridiculous. I am so upset and tried to get my bank to get the money back from them but they would not do it. They said it would cost me to have that done and I just don't know what to do.

This company needs to be put out of business. They even have themselves as being BBB-accredited.

They are not. They are swindlers and keep luring unsuspecting, and often unemployed writers into their money-making scam.

THIS IS NOT A JOB OFFER

Okay I did not sign on but this company makes me angry. Great website and what a great pitch. THINK for a moment what the presenter is telling you. YOU can be ***, inbred or coming off life support and YOU can be a writer. This is NOT a 'job offer' but a pitch that is psychologically playing to your narcissist self. Most people on average cannot write, at least not well. Good writing takes creative perspective, an opinion that comes from your experience. It matters not what you write about, if you cannot impact the reader with what you wrote then you are not a writer. This company states after paying the one time 'discounted' entrance fee of $34, they will GIVE you computer software valued at $1100 plus that will make you an awesome writer. Software is a tool meant to help but can never be your talent. Also consider if the offer is so great then why NOT take a percentage from the success of the writer. Makes for a better business model and a win, win all around that is unless you are a company like this one who plays on the desperations of the down and out or the ambitions of those who wish to expand their interests. Both circumstances are emotionally based and therefore alter reason. The company claims to be a BBB member yet do not show up as a BBB member and there is no link to contacting the company directly even though it allows you to write a message, it will never allow you to send it. Actually the company is indefensible and clearly a scam. DON'T DO IT

REFUSES REFUND

I have requested a refund from mywritingjob.com four times and they have failed to respond to my requests. I made my first request after about a week and I realized what they are offering is no value to me. I now know they are complete SCAMMERS! This is just a dirty scheme to get your money and suck you into buying more offers. Their so-called Writing Job Database consists of a lot of ads and junk all across the board. These are some of the "writing" ads advertised on their site as of 11/20/2013: logo design, business cards, PayPal integration, software design, people looking for work, foreign language, software development, website design, poster design, website conversion to html and many, many more that are not relevant to writing. Their link to "EARN MONEY WRITING CONTENT" does not work. This is a junk, scam website and I am still trying to get a refund.

MY WRITINGJOB.COM SCAM

I signed up with MY WRITINGJOB.COM. They give a 60 trial with a guaranteed no questions ask refund policy. However, THEY have Ignored my many refund requests. They didn't even acknowledge my requests. Additionally, while they just about guarantee you will make your "fee" back almost immediately, that doesn't happen. Most of the jobs they provide access to, require special software/program skills, unlike their claim that you do not need any special skills. They list jobs all oer the world, however, people in impoverished countries take the jobs for $1 or $2 an hour or a piece. All this lends to a very difficult time getting a job, UNLIKE their claims.

Lying about 60 day trial money back guarantee

I found a job online with a freelance writing company called mywritingjob.com and they advertised that you would make a lot of money doing freelance writing jobs. They advertised that it cost a one time fee of $34 (discounted price) to sign up and then you could take on jobs for free. They also said if you are unsatisfied you have 60 days to get your money back. I logged on and it turned out the jobs were meant to be bidded for and not easily obtained. Also you could only make 10 bids a month for free before you have to pay a monthly fee. So I changed my mind and asked for my money back and received no response. I've emailed them 8 times and still no response.

:roll Actually you guys they said if you don't see hundreds of new jobs each day then you can get your money back within the 60 day trial period. We all have to listen and pay attention to the ifs.

Had the same experience.

Signed up with these guys, only to find that all they were doing is aggregating job postings from several web sites and charging me for what I could easily go and get for free.

Tried to get a refund and - surprise surprise - have heard nothing back.

It's not bad to try making a buck off my laziness. If I want to use their service instead of searching on my own, then they have every right to charge me.

what is bad, however, is that they are (apparently) lying by saying stating that you can get a refund, and never providing one when it's requested.

That kind of treatment tells me they know what they know full well that they are misrepresenting their refund policy, and really gives the whole operation a bad image and name.

And it is because of that I say don't waste your time or money with the mywritingjobs.com website or service. Don't support anyone who chooses to do business in that manner.

If you want a job writing as a freelancer, just search for 'freelance writing jobs' in your favorite search engine, and you will find everything there - and for free - that this web site charges $34 to give.
