Mywoobyandme - Crib Bedding Review from Nashville, Tennessee

I placed an order for custom crib bedding back in September. Received great correspondence during that time and even after money was paid for the items in full. I was told Nov 14 that items were ready but the shop was snowed in and couldn't get deliveries out. After sending multiple messages requesting updates, I was no longer receiving any response aside from an automated response that was posted weeks before. I opened a case with Etsy regarding this purchase and then started to do research on how else to contact this seller. That's when I found the bad news, that many people had already been scammed in this way. I am pissed off first off, since we put a great amount of money into this order, but more devastated as it was customized and I have decorated the nursery around these items. The baby is due next week and we now have no bedding. How upsetting!! Doubt I will do business through Etsy again, unfortunately.

Mywoobyandme - Fraudulent Seller Review from Oceanside, California

Chris at MyWoobyandMe is a fraud and thief. She delays until your ability to file a complaint is passed then she doesn't respond to your messages. This thieving *** stole over 200 dollars from me. I've made a complaint to etsy and they do NOTHING. They hide behind the statement of we can't comment on ongoing investigations. As if there is even an investigation. It wouldn't surprise me if they are getting kick backs from the fraudulent sellers. etsy could shut down the site, but they won't.

I filed a complaint on the 9th of December and they shut down her site. I'm in the process of getting my $ back from the credit card company.

I have bought from others on Etsy and had no issues.

I will continue to use the other two but won't buy anymore from anyone else.

Wish I would have researched before ordering from this company. I have also been scammed, but used PayPal to purchase my item.

It has been over 45 days b/c I gave the company benefit of the doubt that their response of being snowed in was legit!

I called Etsy, which they can do nothing since I used Paypal and now Paypal says they cannot open a dispute b/c it's been over 45 days! Has anyone been able to find how to contact the person that has this fraudulent company?

BUYER BEWARE! MY WOOBY AND ME IS A SCAM!

I ordered a blanket from Chris on 6/20/14. On 7/25/14 I got a notification that it had shipped. When I tried to track the package, USPS said that it was never shipped, only a label had been created. When I contacted Chris about this last Thursday, she said it was totally her mistake and I would get it by the middle of this week. When I still hadn't received it by yesterday, I left a review on her Etsy shop stating my disappointment and her response was to cancel my order!! She called me heartless for posting honest feedback. I have suspicions as to whether or not the blanket was ever even made, because if I was told to expect it this week but she canceled my order yesterday, I just doubt that there was ever really a blanket made to begin with. Do not order from her! She is a scammer! I have sent complaints to Etsy as well.

Don't worry--I've been a bigger *** than you. I ordered my blanket in April.

When I hadn't gotten it by June, she claimed it had been mailed. I saw there was a tracking link and clicked it and it said shipped to my address. I didn't think to really look at that. It did not say delivered.

Maybe she just generated a mailing label as you said. I figured it had been lost in the mail, paid for it AGAIN, and AGAIN I have not received it (September 11).

When I posted on the Etsy forum, my post was taken down because I put the name of the shop in it! Meanwhile, though, members had sympathized and directed me to google the vendor (how I found your post).

She's such a crook! I'm sorry that you and so many others have had similar experiences.

But at least we know better now. I always research Etsy shops now!!

DO NOT ORDER FROM MYWOOBYANDME!! She is a scam! 'Chris' the store owner was so helpful when I was emailing her about customising my own blanket. As soon as payment was sent, I did not hear a thing from her and she wouldn't reply to my emails! I emailed her 4 weeks after payment was sent asking how progress was going and I got a very rude reply back stating that processing time was 3-5 weeks. By the 6th week after many unanswered emails, I googled the shop name and became aware she is a scammer!!! I emailed etsy to open a case against her and called my bank to dispute a refund. My partner emailed her demanding a refund or further action will be taken and Ta Da! A refund was given! I have read many other buyers still have not received their money back or the item after months and months. Do not buy from her!!

“DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!! I ordered a blanket on April 1st, and had written confirmation it would be received by the end of April for a baby shower. When I inquired about the blanket after not receiving it, I received a notice that the seller had an unexpected health issue. I completely understood and waited until JUNE 1st (6 weeks late) to receive the product. When it arrived, it was the wrong font, color and the name was not even centered on the blanket. When I messaged the seller about this, she proceeded to blame me for the result when she was the one to send me the font/color choices. I sent the blanket back on June 6th and she received it on June 12th. She will not refund my money because I did not provide a tracking number. I will be contacting Etsy to open a case. DO NOT USE THIS SELLER!!!!”

Idc what she thinks I did the right thing and got my refund. She also has a tendency of creating shipping labels but not shipping anything for another two weeks. I just want my money back. I hope this will give her an incentive to give me my money back. I told her if my blanket was not going to be ready to refund me. She said she would minus the embroidery design and "custom" fabric. I requested she provide me with receipts for each and since I was paying for them to deduct shipping cost as well for these items and refund me what was left over. Upon request of the receipts for these items she tells me she will not refund me and she will be shipping the blanket on Monday Dec 23 or Tuesday Dec 24. Then today Dec 21 at 7:18am she creates a shipping label. How did she complete the blanket that fast when nothing was done the night before. I will be tracking the package as I do not trust the number due to prior reviews of false tracking #s. Wish me luck

I placed an order for multiple items in January 2014. One item did not arrive.

Chris was apologetic and said she'd send the missing item out right away (the end of March). It's now May and I don't have my item which was paid for in January! I get no response from her. There doesn't seem to be a way that Etsy keeps sellers honest.

Just like the post above, the shipping label was supposedly made out and sent but the items I did get didn't arrive for several more weeks. The darn baby will have no need for the missing item by the time I get it -- if ever.

Do NOT do business with this seller. The items are beautiful and well made but there is no customer service -- plain & simple!
