No Service for Phone or from company!
Been w MSM for 2 yrs. Went ok til last 6 months. (except that my iPhone was on Edge speeds and couldn't make or get MMS just because its an iPhone). In last several months, my network is lost more than it is on, so I cannot make/receive calls, texts, use web. When I called customer service and got jacked around with long holds and different reps, I got someone in the Phillipines whomI could not understand, accent so thick. He actually told me to take my battery out and try again. I had to tell him the iPhones battery is not removable! Then he said try turning phone off and back on, as if I hadn't already tried the most obvious fix. Then he said I needed to call him from another cell phone so he could check the problem. When I explained that like most people, I have one cell phone account and no landline, he told me to go on street to borrow a cell ph from a stranger! Unbelievable. I asked for supervisor. Same treatment. I asked for partial,reimbursement for inability to use my phone on their *** service 75% of the month I had already paid for. No refund, no solution. I live in large metro,area on coverage map, so I should get service. If its true they run on TMobile towers, I have friends w TMobile who get service. Brand new SIM btw. So now Im Forced to go with Verizon and pay double for consistent service, both on my phone and from customer service...
MySimpleMobile is DIFFICULTMOBILE
These idiots took my payment, declined it [after they have rec'd the $$], then shut off the phone. Cannot pay online with their usleless stuttering, flashing zero user friendly website, cannot pay over the phone as THAT system doesn't take a payment when they say it will...can't pay thru customer service---they don't take payments in person... THEY DON'T WANT THE GODDAM MONEY, BUT THEY TAKE IT & SHUT OFF THE PHONE!! THEN...they won't submit a fax to say they are not processing the payment as 'WE DON"T DO THAT"...THEN, they give a corporate contact which is supposed to be in Californina, but is in FLORIDA & is another useless call-center. They won't turn on the service when the HAVE the $$ as they now insist on processing a REFUND. Well, if ur processing a REFUND then U HAVE the $$, so just issue a pin to turn it on. NOPE. You have to wait up 2 14 days for refund & you cannot PORT ur # until it is active. Congratulations, DIFFICULT& USELESS MOBILE, U win the most *** UP Company of the Year, hands DOWN!!!!
MySimpleMobile customer service is awful
i signed up for mysimplemobile tonight. After waiting online for at least 20 minutes, the representative (Amy, i think) finally answered my request to port over my existing number. She told me the process would take 24-36 hours and that i may not be able to use my phone for part of that time, becasue they were porting over the number. when i asked her if simple mobile was also cancelling my old cell phone service (since i wouldnt have service with either old or new company), she just repeated that i would be without service and hung up! Rude and no professionalism whatsoever! and from her accent i could tell she was right here in the good ole USA. With companies sending out customer service jobs to other countries, one would think she would want to be more helpful. the fact that she was that rude is my warning about this company's policies. after this initial experience, I fully expect to switch to another service by the beginning of the year.
