Outrageous!

This company pops up on legitimate sites and usurps your banking information when signing up for a completely different service! Without giving you knowing what's happening! It's outrageous this is the second time! How are they able to usurp your banking information on another sites service? This has to be illegal! Pop ups are one thing, but when you legitimately are giving the site your obtaining service from your private banking information they are grabbing it on their own!

I didn't register to this. I don't know how it happened but this has to stop. It's not just this one, I have been scammed in three other product websites too. I don't know how to get rid of these things. Stop robbing people please.

Online Book Access Account was opened without my permission!

I opened a new business 9 months ago with a new business checking account. Somehow this company, Mybymedia.com, opened an account charging me $39.99 month, plus $2.99 each month for access, and then each month there were charges for $1.20 and .09 cents each month for international charges. The company is located in Quebec. The QuickBooks app automatically put these charges under Brewer Media. As I saw media on the statements, I assumed these were charges from the several marketing companies that I had hired: magazines, newspapers, radio ads, billboard ads, TV commercials, hotel ads, etc. I contacted Brewer Media twice and the rep said these were not their charges. I am working on preparing QuickBooks for taxes and have the time to figure this out. I found a website next to the charges on my business checking account. Looked it up and found a phone number. Contacted Mybymedia 1-87*-252-****. After a lengthy discussion, the supervisor that I was transferred to stated that she could only authorize a refund for the past 6 months and not the first 5 months. Mybymedia received $490.05 and are issuing a refund of $217.89. NOT OK WITH ME! I don't read novels. Never have. I would not subscribe to this online company. She said that an email was sent to me stating that they were taking out $39.99 and $2.99 each month for a subscription. Well, I do not have access to that email and I haven't had access to that email since the first of May of 2018. The franchise owner has access to that email. Because of circumstances that arose, I opened a gmail account for the business. This is ridiculous! I know that they can view any books that would have been downloaded to read. I don't read novels. What recourse is available to receive 100% refund? Cheri G

MybyMedia is giving me a 100% Refund!

Yesterday, MybyMedia stated that they could only reimburse me 50% of the charges for ebooks that I did not subscribe to for the past 11 months. I am a new small business and assumed the charges were from the several different marketing companies I have engaged in business. Today I receive an email from Erica stating that by checking the IP # that they can tell that this is a fraudulent charge and that they would provide a 100% refund! That is great news as a struggling new business every single dollar matters and impacts our success. Thank you Erica for doing the right thing! Cheri

I don't know how or why Mybymedia took money out of my account. How did they get my account number?

Money was taken out of my account without my permission. I had to search these people on-line and I did stop all other payments but they have not returned the first withdraw and I called them asking how they got my account number they actually said I signed up for it! Signed up for what. I think I would have remember that I signed up for something that I signed up for if I needed to enter my account number. I hope this wasn't some stupid page Amazon connected me to and I got out of right away when I ordered something. Now I have to investigate this. Now do they have my account number in their database. I am so pissed. Please investigate these people immediately. thank you al

Just today I saw a pending charge for $2.95 in my bank account from MyByMedia.com and it is indeed a scam because I have had my internet service suspended for the last two weeks and it just got turned back on today.

After I was charged $39.99 on my credit card (which I don't know how they got) I called my by media. They would Only credit 50% because it was past the seven day cancellation period.

I said I didn't even know I was being charged until I got by credit card statement. this company is a scam I'm going to be be reported them to the better business bureau .
