Lost my part

Sent into seatbelts and a module. They claim they never received my module Ive done the same repair two similar vehicles multiple times. I do not have dementia I know I sent it to him and they lost it and I had to go to a dealer and spent $425 on a new one. I would not recommend doing business with this company. I will not ever again. As well not any of the body shops I deal with going to be their loss not mine

Had defective Occupancy Seat Module that required resetting - these folks claimed they could reset the module for us. We sent it in got it set back as ‘Wrong Part’! Claim was that their service guy Bob is a robot. FIRE BOB & FIRE THESE FOLKS AS WELL.

Sent my gauge cluster 3x

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Updated by user Feb 23, 2018

I finally got my instrument gauge cluster back from myairbags and now the oil pressure gauge doesn't move at all. I called, they refunded most of my money and said if I were to buy another one someplace else they would make an odometer correction free of charge and reluctantly said they would upgrade the lighting.

Well I did buy another one and it works perfectly, One must assume from this that they goofed something up inside my original and did not want to fix it, maybe too expensive??

The point is they left me with a broken part and a huge hassle. Needless to say I will not be using them for ANYTHING going forward and I would recommend you find someone else as well!!

Original review Feb 12, 2018
I over-nighted my part to this company on 1/19/2018 after being promised a quick turn around, it cam back a week later with the oil gauge reading upside down and the message center partially working. I changed the oil pressure sending unit as a long shot but was still the same. Sent it back, this time the message center seemed to be ok but the pressure gauge was the same. I over-nighted again (very expensive) again as I need my car at this point and asked if the would ship it by other than USPS or could I send a call tag to pick it up...No so today is 2/12/2018 and I still do not have my part. I cannot tell you enough not to use this company!!!

I sent my F150 ABS module to them for repair. Before I sent it in I asked if they could repair the specific codes that were set. They said they could. After sending it in twice it came back unrepaired. When I asked for a refund they said it was the pump that was bad and they would not refund any amount. The second time I sent it back for repair they wanted me to pay the return postage and I refused. DONT USE THESE FOLKS, DISHONEST AS THE DAY IS LONG. I DOUBT THEY HAVE THE ABILITY TO TEST THESE UNITS AFTER REPAIR. YES, IM YELLING CUZ IM OUT $150

After writing my review on Pissedconsumer I was contacted by myairbags.com and issued a refund. I was still out $30 to ship it twice but I'm happy I got that much back. They admitted that they should not have promised they could repair the unit in the first place.

They cannot repair my DSC control module and will not refund.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
This company provides false claims that they can repair DSC control modules whereas in my experience they cannot and they will not provide a refund unless I purchase a new module or pay another provider to fix it. I sent the DSC control module to them. It cost me $187 with shipping. My original issue was that the module was taking down the CAN-BUS. When I received the module back, I had return pump faults. I tested the return pump and found the issue was in the control module. I sent it back and they returned it. I now have return pump and pre-charge pump fault stored. Again, I tested both pumps, they work fine. I even went so far as to install a module from a friends vehicle and no faults, both pumps can be activated through the diagnosis system. I contacted them again and claimed they tested the module and it is not at fault. That tells me they have no clue and/or no resources to check if the module is repaired. This company is a scam. I spent $187 and still do not have a properly functioning DSC control module and they are not willing to refund my money without spending more money.

Ripped off. They do not have the ability to reset the module.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

They said they could reset the module and rebuild the seat belts. After i spent 250 dollars and had an hr long phone conversation the problem wasn't resolved.

I asked many questions and they couldn't answer most of them. All they would say is i would have to send it in and they would fix it. Not true at all. I had to pay the shipping charge both ways.

After i said it wasnt working they told me to send it again and i would have to pay shipping again. They are very limited with information. Do not recommend this company.

I suggest 5 star airbag service. never had a problem with their rebuilds.

Quality has surely decreased in recent time

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I have used MABS more than 20 times for various repairs over the last 5 years. I had one module that they said was unrepairable in the first 3.5 years of dealing with them. Now In the last 6 months every cluster and module in non repairable. I then get the unit back and send it to another builder only to have it repaired without issue. When I called about a nissan pathfinder that he claimed had no issues, the tech said "all we do is power them on" mine was stuck at full which I clearly stated. Then he tried to tell me ways to fix it, by googling stuff from forums. I called his bluff because I am a shop owner, ASE Master Tech, and employ 2 other Master Techs. He finally refunded my money. Sent the unit to another builder and it was repaired in 24hrs and sent back.

HORRIBLE SERVICE! LOST MONEY

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
The customer service here is some of the worst I have ever experienced in my life. I have sent them half dozen modules and seat belts alike. 2 orders took over 2 weeks to get back to be and one order missed delivery 2x and then they made me pay $38 again. I own a logistics company and offered to provide a label myself to avoid problems and they refused. Now i sit with a $44,000 customers car that has been sitting almost 40 days waiting for second rate company to get the belts back. I have paid $76 in freight one 1 belt. Horrific experience not just once but 2x. There are a dozen companies that do this now on ebay. I would go there as they have reviews and a satisfied customer base.

Professional Rip off

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Company said they had 3 of the 1993 Dodge Stealth R/T airbags for my year of car. They offered discount then took it away when I had to ask a question. Then when I cancelled the order because they were being petty they claimed it was "special ordered" (it was a junkyard part) although they had it listed on their website as having 3 of them. They then "stole" $90 of the refund claiming it was special ordered and already shipped. Not true. I never received a notification from the shipper that it had actually been shipped. So I lost $90+ and got nothing. Nada. And I had to "ask" for the partial refund I got! It took threatening with a fraud investigation from my bank to make them respond. Do not trust anything they say. The used airbags you get from them are the same as you can get on EBay for 1/3 the cost. (which is where I got my new one. Airbags charged $175 + $50+for shipping...Ebay $49 free shipping, same junkyard product.) Don't believe the hype. They can't recharge or rebuild an airbag. It's against the law.

Antilock Brake Module Rebuild Review

What a joke. They advertise that they rebuild the modules but all they do is just resolder the relays. Wasted $26 for shipping and still have a junk module. Don't do business!

Clockspring Repair Ripoff!!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Sent in my clockspring along with another clockspring with good plugs to be used as parts for my clockspring. I included a letter with clear explanation of the parts included. All they did was solder their own new plugs, something I could've done my self. They added antoher 4-5 inches of wire a lot longer than original. I was thinking they would open the clockspring and replace with the good plugs from the other clockspring without cutting or soldering. The heatshrink tubes slid off the repair area as well. Save your money and read the reviews, my mistake! Never again! Waste of money!
