MVP MODEL AND TALENT MANAGEMENT INC. TORONTO REFUSE TO PAY MODELS & ACTORS...Dishonest business practices.

MVP Model & Talent MANAGEMENT Incorporated Camille Bailey & Cindy La Chapelle: I was signed under contract with MVP Management (used to be known as Shok Models but opened up under MVP management after Shok Models was shut down years ago) for only 17 months. Click this link to read a RIP OFF REPORT on shok models.

ripoffreport.com/r/shok-models/toront-ontario-m5g-1y6/shok-models-insists-it-can-take-a-year-to-receive-pay-it-has-been-over-a-year-and-we-are-771849. I was under their "Money Models Division". I booked two different jobs with this agency and never received the $180.00 that was owed to me from the first job which was a commercial. This job was done in June...over 2 years later and I STILL NEVER RECEIVED a penny from that job.

The job would have been $225.00 in which I was supposed to receive $180.00 from the $225.00 but instead MVP took the entire amount of money claiming it went towards "their yearly fee." I was a broke college student and was taken advantage of; this agency tricked me and robbed me blind as a result I got into even more credit card debt. Second job I did about a year ago for a commercial, and waited 9 months to get paid. Was owed $160.00 but was only paid $68.00. Cindy & Camille were never upfront and honest with me about the various fees that are not explained clearly in their 3 year contract.

After being signed for 4 months that was when they gave me their "account summary which still DOES NOT explain the specific commission that they charge models. Beware: The Contract will also say that you cannot take legal action against MVP Management, Inc. MVP will NOT JUST TAKE 20% COMMISSION they will also charge anyone represented with them $120 a year annual fee as well as a 20% client fee, AND An accounting fee on top of that. Better hope you don't book any auditions because if you do you won't see any of your hard earned money.

Inotherwords MVP gets 60% commission from the jobs you book and if you are lucky you will get 40% commission. Legit modelling agencies only charge 20% commission and the model keeps the 80% commission. I paid $350 to do a photoshoot with them, another $350 on top of that for only ten portfolio prints, and another $295 on top of that for comp cards. After being with this agency for 17 months I only received $68.00 from the two jobs I worked on which wasn't even enough money to cover all the portfolio and comp card costs...I invested around $1000 and made less than 10% of the money that I invested.

After I cancelled the contract Cindy and Camille kept all the photographs that were taken of me on their social media and EVEN LIED to me saying that they removed my picture off their social media posts when THEY NEVER DID. THEY HAVE FLAT OUT REFUSED TO REMOVE MY PICTURE OFF THEIR SOCIAL MEDIA after multiple requests were made. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME with this agency. They will take all your $$$money$$$ and claim that every job in modelling takes up to a year to get paid because it is the clients fault.

THEY ARE NOTHING MORE THAN JUST ANOTHER SCAM MODELLING AGENCY IN TORONTO. COMPLETE *** AND NOTHING BUT A LIE.

If you have had any similar experiences with this agency please feel free to COMMENT BELOW. THANK YOU.

Glad someone finally realizes the truth about this company!

Emily Carpenter or Emily C Model has a history of making up fraudulent claims. This is her way of getting back at agencies as she tried to sue another one and lost.

She also on file with the Belleville Police. Do not believe this made up story.

This message is a made up message from an unreliable source. This is obviously someone who doesn't know how modelling works.

I am an international model and the investments made in Toronto are minimal compared to the rest if the modelling world. I am a model with them for years now and I haven't any issues.

They told me all the costs and nothing is out of the ordinary. A weak attempt to ruin the reputation of a good business and good people.
