AI Highlights
  • - Arrived 11:15 PM; left 5:30 AM; no physician seen.
  • - Only bloodwork and a few tests done.
  • - Waiting room was cold; 91-year-old waited six hours.

We arrive Monday night around 1115 to 11:30 PM decided to walk out around 5:30 AM Tuesday morning without seeing a physician only had bloodwork and a couple other tests done. The waiting room was cold security guard was given out blankets.

No nurses was around they were sitting in the heating office, looking out the windows, we had people come in after we was there they were seen and sent home by doctors in the back. We also have people that was there after us and before us decide to leave before and after we did because they cannot see the doctor it is unprofessional for a 91 year old person to have to wait six hours and still do not see any medical treatment people , you have young people coming in being seen and sent home I guess they do not care about the older people these days I thought of the first come Or pin on your medical condition and a 91 year old woman short of breath shouldve been a priority of that hospital, but it was not that day

In my opinion, everyone works on Monday, December 4 should be relieved of their duties at that hospital in Lancaster South Carolina.

They include the Dump that was in the back and the nurses that was going to registration. No one tried to assist anybody who was in the room, other than the young people Negative

Pros:
  • Know how to take blood pressure

User's recommendation: Do not stop in Lancaster

  • - Lancaster, SC ER visit for a 91-year-old at 11:17 PM; no doctor seen for hours.
  • - Younger patients were seen while older patients waited.

Hello all

This facility in Lancaster, South Carolina is grading a F minus

On December 4, 2023, my 91 year old mother went to the emergency room at 11:17 PM. They did do blood pressure a few other tests and in our back to the waiting room that was around 1145.

We stayed there from 11:45 to 5:30 AM, Tuesday morning did not see a doctor or anyone in the medical field that could treat her. We made decision to walk out of the facility untreated as the other patience that was there before us, and still has not been had not been seen. This was over six hours, awaiting without seeing any medical doctor a practitioner people came in after we was there and was seen and left, but is my understanding that you do not that they do not care about the older people now its more about the childrens the future, which is not correctly, right Which is in our case was that all the younger people were seen and sent home while the older people stayed around and waited in my opinion, this staff at Lancaster hospital should be terminated and brought in new staffing. The waiting room was cold.

You had security guard given out blankets. The nurses there that was doing registration so they did not have room or people cleaning room to put people in the back, but they Sit in their office looking out the window in the heated room.

Thank you for your time and patience, which probably would never happen again at this hospital

User's recommendation: No never
