Mundae Air duct and carpet cleaning

My family had lots of allergies so we decided to clean the Air duct and all the carpets at the house. After shopping around online I've found the company that I'll probably use for many years to come!!!! They guys from Mundae did a wonderful job on both of our AC systems and the carpets look fantastic !!! The crew Very negligible and completed all the work at the same day. They even gave my coupons for future services :-) I will recommend this company to all of my friends and family.!!! You should try them too !!! Thank You Mundae for a wonderful job !!!

Mundae company ruined my downstairs carpet and caused mold and mildew damage.

A week ago, I had been searching for someone to clean our carpets before our Annual holiday party, for our friends and family. Mundae seemed to have the best prices over the phone, and I spoke with a lady named Angela over the phone who gave me a reasonable quote for my entire downstairs to be cleaned. After scheduling the appointment for Wednesday of that week, I took the day off of work to see the cleaning done. After my window period of time scheduled expired still no one had shown up. I called Mundae to ask them where they had been and this time a gentleman answered the phone and apologized for the mix up, they had it scheduled for the following day. I understand typing errors, so I took off the next day again to wait for this company to come. They did arrive the next day to my home, two young men who looked barely old enough to have graduated from high school. One of them did not speak English, but my house keeper was able to translate for me. After them leaving, my carpets felt like I was walking on a soaked bathroom carpet mat. I called Mundae again to speak my complaints, and they told me that this was normal and that I needed to wait 24 hours before calling them again. This was not my first rodeo on getting my carpets cleaned but I usually use another company who uses the dry method of carpet cleaning. I woke up the next morning, to the sloshy carpet feeling yet again. I called Mundae yet again to make note of my complaint but they informed me yet again this was normal and to turn on my ceiling fans in the room if possible as this would make the drying process faster. My husband and I ended up staying in a hotel for the night as I couldn't stand the carpet much longer. When we returned the next morning I was hit with a putrid smell upon opening the front door similar to spoiled food, or rotten garbage smell. I called Mundae irate, and the gentleman on the phone apologized to me stating that they would send someone out to check out the issue that day. I stayed home from work yet again to wait for this supposed person to check out the house, again they were a no show. My husband and I yet had to spend a second night in a hotel. I decided to call a BBB Reputable company who informed me that my carpets, where soaked all the way down to the pad. I asked what could be done, but they informed me that the smell had been from mold and mildew that had been created when my carpets sat with water in them for so many days. Their solution to me was that I needed to buy new carpet, but that they wouldn't be able to do anything for me. Finally the first honest carpet company who I had spoken with this month. I ended up calling a carpeting company near the 610 loop who were able to schedule me in the same day to look at my home as well. They quoted me $8,000.00 to replace my carpets and padding for my entire downstairs carpets. After getting a quote from three other companies ranging from $8,000 to $12,750 to replace my downstairs carpet and padding I called Mundae again to let them know. I quickly asked to speak to a supervisor after the woman on the phone told me that I was exaggerating and that this situation was impossible. She told me she was the acting supervisor and that she would make a note in my account for 50 dollars off my next carpet cleaning. 50 dollars for my $8,000.00 carpet bill? I have decided to finally call my lawyer and do the smart thing. This company has no interest in customer service. We are pursuing legal action on this matter and hope that with this report others will be informed of what type of service this company will provide.
