Absolute waste of money!

When I purchased my fabric lounge suit from Big Save furniture I was told this warranty would cover all accidental stains... what a load of lies. They are sneaky and put in the fine print we must contact within 5days of the stains appearing. They also don’t cover most things as it falls within normal ‘wear and tear’. I paid about $250 for this cover too, absolute waste of money. I will be letting Big Save know tomorrow as they promoted this crap warranty to me.

I got the $1000 black settee recliners and got a sticky fly hanger thing on the couch. Called up warranty and they sent a cleaner.

Cleaner left chemical smell on it so i complaind again and they wouldnt fix it so i called radio rentals where i bought it from and they replaced the whole settee with a brand new. Had upgraded chrome drink holders too the new one.

When purchasing my leather sofa at Harvey Norman the sales agent advised me that insurance covers all accidental damage. Turns out this is not true. Put in a claim to repair accidental scratches on my sofa directly to multimaster and my claim was declined because it was apparently accumulated damage and needed to be reported within five days of the accident happening. So I would have needed to make about 10 separate and immediate claims for the minor scratches on my cushions. How pathetic. I was asked to provide photos of all the different angles and asked several questions over the course of a week and then my claim was denied. This forces me to question the sales tactics of the sales reps of furniture retailers because clearly there has been a misrepresentation of facts. Please read the terms and conditions before buying any type of furniture insurance, because you certainly DO NOT get what you pay for!!!! I was certainly not afforded the opportunity to read the terms and conditions before buying the insurance. I stupidly trusted the sales rep. DO NOT BUY MULTIMASTER FURNITURE INSURANCE!!!!!!! Waste of money. Oh and their leather cleaning product is useless too.

We purchased a leather lounge and this Multimaster scam for an extended leather warranty which covers rips,tears, burns,scuffs etc.. Guess what ? It doesn't cover anything at all.. I contacted the overly rude Emma Hill about some scuffs in our head rest and after emailing this arrogant twit picture after picture , we had a rep come out to inspect our lounge a week or so later. We explained and showed him where the scuffs were and he asked how they were done and we said from our heads probably .. Shouldn't be a problem he said and off he went.. Weeks went on so I emailed the charming Emna again to be told she was on holidays and I'll have to wait till she gets back on the 29/10/15.. Today I received a letter saying our claim was declined due to wear and tear.. Huh? It's a scuff and it's covered and the lounge is less than 2 years old. I rang to be told it was declined because I couldn't tell them how and exactly when it was done.. 2 am by a f%#^#en zombie? The product with its midget sized sponge is useless and so is this scam is a warranty so please save your money and use it to pay for a repair.. Total utter waste of money and a true Aussie scam .. Regards B. Pessan............ I hate Crooks!!!!

Multimaster Australia - 100% fraud - Absolute waste of money
We bought this leather lounge from Harvey Norman and sale person insist on buying the 5 years Multimaster Ultimate Product Warranty and saying it will cover all common accident like stains and damage. I also checked their website and I found this: "Ultimate Product Warranty cover stains caused by: All food and beverages, Human and pet bodily fluids, Common household substances including: cosmetics, glue, grease and tar, soaps and shampoos, ink, wax and nail polish." and couple of more items about damage, basically they suppose to cover almost every accident, so we thought it is a good investment to protect our expensive lounge. After one month when accidentally one of our guest kids applied nail polish we were happy about our investment. I contacted Multimaster and sent them pictures of stains. After a week they replied that it is declined as nail polish is not covered. When I referred to their website they replied "website is very general and we only cover nail polishes which are made of water, oil and alcohol! and still your claim is declined as we spent too much time in this case!" I am not chemist and usually there is nothing about the ingredients on nail polish bottle. When we bought their product they did not mentioned about the type of nail polish! Bottom of line: DO NOT BUY MULTIMASTER EXTENDED WARRANTY! IT IS SCAM - WASTE OF MONEY. They easily can avoid their obligations based on their terms and conditions.

Multimaster Warranty a rip off

Purchased Multimaster Australia Warranty on our new leather furniture from Harvey Norman. The insurance is for accidental damage. When you try to claim Multimaster Australia weasel out on a technicality and try to call it 'wear and tear' eg a recliner goes up and down scuffing on open brick a couple of times before you notice the damage. Multimaster Australia says that is not accidental. They will send a letter dismissing your claim and saying Multimaster Warranty does not cover it. Save your money, do not buy the Multimaster Australia 5 year warranty, it is a Multimaster rip off, Multimaster Ausralia will be rude to you in the process. Stores like Harvey Norman and other furniture shops should not sell such this Multimaster Australia scam product. Do not by anything from Multimaster Australia.
