Taste

Ive enjoyed this buttery taste for years. But i bought a new bottle about 1 month ago and tasted it this morning.

NO LONGER MY FAVORITE. The taste is pure excess sugar now.

Thickness still there but zero buttery flavor. WTH did you do to the recipe?

Pros:
  • Thickness
Cons:
  • Too much sugar and not enough butter taste

Preferred solution: A bottle with buttery flavor with less sugar. If no longer made that way...i want nothing and will no londer buy.

User's recommendation: Add butter flavor and less sugar please.

THE ORIGINAL MRS BUTTERWORTH HAS CHANGED THE INGREDIENTS ITS NOT THE SAME AND GIVES MY WAFFLES AND PANCAKES A BAD TASTE.

Please bring the old ingredients back to the syrup before the pandemic started. Unless the original Mrs Butterworth is not going give the ingredient that's missing.

I grew up on miss Butterworth and I can say it does not taste the same at all. It is actually displeasing to the tastebuds.

I am not sure when or why but please go back to the original ingredients. Anyone who has grew up eating this knows it is completely different and even has a metallic taste to it.

Life Endangering Legalities

In January 2018, my son had a stroke. He was diagnosed with diabetes.

Thankfully, he is recovering. Being new to the "sugar free" scene, I made the mistake of buying Mrs Butterworth's Sugar Free Syrup. I thought it would be safe to make him some almond meal pancakes. When his sugar skyrocketed well over 200, l checked the label and found corn syrup listed in the ingredients.

On their Facebook page, I commented on how dangerous this deception was for people with health problems.

Their reply stated that they had the legal right to label their product in this manner because corn syrup is not sugar. I feel this mentality is completely ruthless.
