DON'T USE THEM
- - Water heater installed for $810; valve leaked within 30 minutes.
- - Technician arrived with teflon tape; fix described as for now.
I just had a waterheater installed today for total cost of $810.00. 30 minutes after leaving the valve that they used to shut off the water in the house is leaking.
After 3 phone calls a guy named Bob shows up with teflon tape to fix it in his words "for now". I had told the office in my previous calls that I needed to someone to fix it and they assured me he had tools in his car since he was not driving a company truck. I could have used flex seal my self. I called the office to tell them that now since I have to get a plumber to fix what they broke because it was not leaking before they came that I felt I should stop payment on the check until I found out what a plumber would cost.
The guy on the phone was just a piece of work. Making ridiculous analogies. Whining that it wasn't fair. I understand that you have to turn off the water to install a water heater but that doesn't mean that if you break something in the process you can just blow off that responsibility.
Accidents happen but to just stick a customer with an extrax expense is what is not fair.
DO NOT ever use this company. I can certainly guarantee I won't.

1 year old and hot water tank leaking on floor
- - Hot water tank leaks after 1 year, and the installer upsold services.
- - Replacement costs $195 and the reviewer paid almost $600.
Hot water tank was installed by mr watwrheater. 1 year later it is leaking.
Called and they want $195 for a relacement. 1 year? Installer was an idiot and I had to hook up gas line because he didn't have right tools? A pipe wrench?
Hope this review helps people in making the right decision when they have a crisis. 1 year from a hot water tank come on guys and your trained professional tried to upsell and couldnt even do what I paid almost $600 to do.

- - They sent a cheaper model and would not budge on price, overcharging noted.
Called mr water heater. Gave them serial number of water heater.
No problem. When they came sent cheaper model would not budge on price. Will let you know if any problems or high electtic bill. Must be how they make out.

Refused to service new water heater
- - They replaced a leaking water heater with a new unit.
- - The new heater drew abnormal power and shorted.
- - They refused after 4 calls; GE also called.
They came out and installed a new water heater replacing one that was new and leaked. After the installation, the water heater was using an abnormal amount of electric.
We disconnected it. We called them 4 times and GE also called them and they refused to come out, saying they "didn't think anything was wrong with it." We had to pay another plumber to take it out and replace it.
The new one works fine.I have a $300 electric bill for a vacant property! Nothing was running except the water heater.Turns out it had a short.
Mr Hot Water Heater
- - Same company as Mr. Hot Water Heater.
- - The heaters aren't reliable.
- - Warranty is theirs, not the manufacturer.
- - Unit was said to last five years.
I think that this might be the same company as Mr. Hot Water Heater.
They go by two names. Their water heaters are not very good. We got a ten year warranty and then we found out that it is their warranty and not the manufacture's warranty. We tried calling them but they said they were not responsible for what the plumber wrote on the bill.
I think that the company should stand behind their work.
After six years we called the company and they said that the water heater we purchased was good for only five years. This is not right.
You're incorrect in saying they are the same company. Because they are not wastewater here does not supply a five-year tag it's requires a minimum of six for the option of a 10 on 12 year warranty. And when you get the 10 or 12 year option you get an extra port in the tank to help with corrosion

Well, I went to your site...and it pretty much was ads....no concept of a website for a business....
Mr Water Heater is a rip off
- - Inspector says extra items weren't needed.
- - $700 was charged extra to finish install.
- - They won't return calls; they plan to contact the state.
We had Mr Water Heater with home office in North Versailles, PA
install a water heater for us and the inspector told me that we didnt need any of the extra stuff that the plumber told me we had to be installed. They charged me another 700 on top of the cost of installing the water heater and it had to bwe done or he could not finish the installation.
The city said they do that all the time to the old.
This is Elder Abuse and I am also going to contact the state. I told my son and he was set to go there and talk to the owner but I told him it would not do any good since I have tried to call them and they will not return my calls.
Mr. Water Heater came out and replaced my water heater after it ruptured.
They came promptly Monday morning, installed a new water heater but forgot to mention that it was an additional $170.00 for an expansion tank. I wouldn't have minded paying the extra $170 if they had mentioned it to begin with. Spokesperson said it was written on the bottom of my contract.
If they knew the hot water heater needed an expansion tank, why not mention it the first time! This starting to be a very expensive water tank!

I've used them twice at my house and have recommended then to at least a dozen friends. All have been very happy with the price and service. They are good guys as well and give back to the community.
