Mph advertising is no longer in business

AI Highlights
  • There is a bad review for mph advertising.
  • Old mph advertising is no longer in business.
  • I bought the LLC and started a company in Berkley, MI.

Hello,

You have a bad review up for the company mph advertising. That company is no longer in business. I recently bought the llc for mph advertising and have started this company out of Berkley, MI. Unfortunately these guys have tainted this name and I did not know of them because I believe they were out of Boston? We have nothing to do with them. When you google mph advertising, your complaints are the first thing that show up. Is there any way to get these complaints removed since that company is no longer in business and it is hurting me, a brand new small business owner?

Thanks,

Peter Hotaling

MPH Advertising

AI Highlights
  • Pitched as entry-level ESPN/Disney advertising, but it felt misleading.
  • Unpaid 8-hour shadow, driven to another town for door-to-door sales.

All the people that work at MPH Advertising are either idiots or they are lying SOB's. I have met about 5 or 6 other people that this SAME EXACT thing has happened to after going to an interview with them.

They tell you that it's entry level advertising/marketing for these HUGE companies like ESPN and Disney...you get there and they say you are "wonderful" and they would like you to come back for a job shadow. You go back and then whoever you're paired with to "job shadow" says that they have to take you to their territory- for me, it was about 45 minutes away. These 2 *** idoits of girls, took me to this town. The whole car ride they were talking about the "type" of person they look for and how I posses those qualities.

We pull into a strip mall and she opens her trunk. It is FILLED with ***. Home depot flashlights, gold pens, coloring books, straws- all piled in the trunk. She takes a duffel bag out and starts filling it with the ***. THEN THEY PROCEED TO GO DOOR TO DOOR (aka. business to business) selling this *** to customers, employees, employers, business parks, bars, gas stations.

I asked to go home and they would NOT TAKE ME BACK TO MY CAR!

They "kidnapped" and made me walk around this town with them for 8 hours- no pay.

At the end of the day I asked them how much money they made- since they don't get any base salary- only commission- they ended up making $55 each- FOR 8 HOURS OF WORK!

NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER go for an "interview" or "job shadow"- EVER!
