Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. They were super helpful and apologetic. I was impressed with their response and will return to other Marriot hotels.
I just Got home from an evening stay at the Moxy Boston. I have Stayed at many hotels and tons of Marriotts this was by far the worst experience I have Ever had.
We did not sleep a wink because there was a club blaring music right outside out window. There is no way someone should be expected to pay for a hotel room that is incapable of being slept in. Your solution, give out cheap earplugs to drown out the noise. It didnt.
If that werent bad enough the dog across the hall barked the ENTIRE night. When we booked the room your website marketed it as a queen bed. A European queen is NOT a queen bed it is basically a full. When we very respectfully complained to the front desk and asked if we could pay for a bigger room she laughed at us and told us they are all micro minis and European queens.
To top the awful experience off my receipt says $356.57 and yet you charge me $410.
Whats up with that??? Considering neither of us were able to sleep a wink and were laughed at when we complained I feel a monetary compensation is warranted and demanded.

Message is addressed to Ms Sanker (sasha.sanker@***.com):
"Dear Madam,
This is a claim for a refund after paying for my stay at your hotel for two nights starting on May 27th.
The claim regards the destination fee that appeared in my invoice while checking out.
I am pointing out the fact that neither during the booking at your reception desk nor during my check-in and payment did I know the fact that there are going to be extra charges than the amount agreed. I have asked your employees during my booking and during checking-in if there are any additional costs on top of the price agreed and their answer was negative no matter how I insisted. The receptionist told me during checking-in that there is an additional cost of $125 per night on top of the amount agreed as guarantee and that cost is going to be credited into my card after a couple of working days. Regarding your booking confirmation email, since two of your employees at the front desk reassured me that no extra cost is going to be debited, that is $209 per night plus taxes and that the total is going to be around $480 to $490 there was no actual need to check anything else.
My continuous questions regarding the total cost of stay were to acknowledge the final amount as the desk is responsible for the booking in person and this is where I approved my stay for the price that I was told.
I did ask what you need my e-mail address for, since I made the booking at the desk and they reassured me that it was just for confirmation of what was just said at the desk and nothing was mentioned about any extra costs. Since I am from overseas any use of internet services on my phone needs some attention as no roaming was available for my phone. Moxy hotels are familiar to me from the city I live in.
Please make sure you credit the respective destination fee for two-night stay to my card and since you were reluctant to do so when we spoke in person at the front desk please forward this claim to your supervisor. The price was agreed at the front desk in contrast to what you told me when I tried to fill in an official complaint.
In view of the above facts I claim a refund of the destination fee for two nights along with credit of $250 ($125/per night) of extra payment as guarantee.
Kind regards
Dr P.
Dellis"
I received negative reply and need to stress once more that hidden charges are totally unacceptable.
I have been a customer of your hotels in Long Beach just before my stay at the Moxy DT LA and in Orlando last year and you have treated any communication and financial arrangements at a high level of professionalism.
I am looking forward to approve my refund claim.
Kind regards
Dr P. Dellis

Bad choice to stay
Was really looking forward to staying at Moxy Vanderbilt. Bad experience on several levels.
With the exception of 1st floor - way too dark!
Could barely see other people in the elevator. Hallways dark. What are you hiding? Its all anyone talked about in hotel.
Additionally, a jack hammer worked on the building for 2 straight days due to air conditioning issue.
Im on 7th floor and had to cancel all my business calls. No one in their right mind could stay in room during this construction. Management should have at least warned their guest and the hours.
Nothing!
Meanwhile air thermostat limited. You cant make this up.
And to top it off the fire alarm went off in bldg.
Bathroom way too tiny and slippery shower.
Bad experience.
User's recommendation: Friends stayed at Hyatt down the street - wonderful stay including free breakfast and pool.
Bad choice in Nashville
