MOVING AGAIN & SUBCONTRACTORS
Booked for furniture to be removed from 2 sites in Northern New South Wales. Failed to arrive on 17th Dec.
All packed up no one contacted until 5hrs after due to arrive. Then told truck would not be arriving until the next day. Next day failed to arrive - no contact until 5hrs after due time. Next day told no truck available until 20th - truck arrived 6am i'st site.
Failed to arrive 2nd pickup. Told forgot about 2nd pick up. Would now arrive for 2nd pick up at 5pm. No contact - arrived 2nd pick up at 7pm.
Phoned company 28th Dec to find when truck would arrive in Melbourne. Told would ring back same day. No return call. Phoned company 29th Dec to say we had not had a return call.
Told truck would arrive 30th Dec. Hooray we have finally received our furniture today. Bad enough the incompetence of Moving Again & subcontractors but they were not remotely concerned about our plight. My daughter who has been very sick and has our 10yr old grandson sitting in a packed up apartment from 17thDec to 20th Dec waiting to be uploaded and then having to drive to Melbourne to be here for Xmas.
The owner (I believe) hung up on my husband when he was trying to find out what was happening.
It has been an absolute nightmare and I would advise all not to use this company. We paid approx $2,700 for the privelege.
