The movers from ***

I contracted with Moves for Seniors, a division of Transit Systems, Inc, to move our household furniture 250 miles. The contract stated they would pick up on October 10, between the hours of 10 a.m.

and noon, and be delivered on October 11. After multiple excuses, they didn't show for pick up till late afternoon on the 11th, a day and a half late. The movers came in an old smoking truck pulling a broke down, bald tire, too short, trailer. Mind you, Moves for Seniors had already taken out the full cost from my bank account.

Three guys get out of the truck that looked like they just came out of a backwood's redneck bar. After loading all they could on the trailer, they tried cramming the rest of the items in the back of my car, which I ended up having to unload half of it back into my empty house, so I could see to drive and put my wife's wheelchair and the dog inside. They had a pile of empty old boxes they had brought with them, that wouldn't fit in trailer or truck, so they threw them all on the back of my property. All four tires on the trailer had to be pumped up, and they had to open one of my boxes to get an extension cord out for their little air compressor.

Then the tongue of the trailer was about one inch off of the ground, so when they went down my driveway, it not only dug into it but also the paved road in front of my house. My wife and I had to stay at a motel that night, which included an additional expense. We drove to our new home the next day, only to find out the truck had broken down, and they were still in the same town we just moved from. We were forced to stay at our son's house because we had no furniture.

On the 14th, they got the truck/trailer repaired, but only brought half of our furniture with him. (His helpers walked off the job, so the driver was by himself.) He arrived here on the 14th at 9:00p.m. with no help. My son had to help him unload the trailer and didn't get back home till after midnight.

The driver drove back to the original pick up point, loaded the other half of our furniture, and arrived here in late afternoon on the 15th. Again alone with no help, and again my son had to help him unload. All through this move from *** we stayed in contact with the so-called coordinator at MFS, through phone calls and emails with only "I'm sorry" and sometimes an "I'm SO sorry" but no remedy or compensation for outsourcing the move to this team of *** They all lie, from the CEO down to the movers, and point fingers at each other for the problems.

(They eventually stopped answering our phone calls and later blocked us.) You can't make this *** up!!! Only use them if you enjoy loosing money, like being under tremendous stress, and love dealing with an unprofessional company.
