Resolved: Faulty boots I purchased from Mountain Warehouse which I purchased over a year ago.

Today I've had my faulty boots replaced at another store.So maybe Mountain Warehouse aren't as bad as I thought.I may have been unlucky with the shop assistant that dealt with me when I first took the boots back.I cannot understand how some people can be so UNHELPFULL and others so HELPFULL.

3 year warranty on boots I bought ( £80 +) little over year ago. Because I didn't have receipt I was offered a £29.99 mw voucher, then upgraded to £39.99.
The rubber sole on 1 boot was hang off.
If mw had had an exact replacement in store I would have received a brand new replacement.

Because they didn't have an exact replacement I was offered the sums previously mentioned.

It wasn't my fault that the boots were defective or that they didn't have an exact replacement in store.
I indicated that the store had a similar boot on the shelf, but was told I wouldn't be offered them because they weren't exactly the same as the ones I had purchase.
I wonder if anyone at mw have ever heard of CUSTOMER CARE or customer rights.
I don't think so.
In future I'll not be going near mw store again.
I'll be shopping at stores that care about their customers.
Mw mustn't understand that unhappy customers won't ever return whereas happy one's will.
I tried to phone mw and was told I was 20th in the queue. Needless to say I did'nt wait.
1 disappointment is enough don't you agree.

10 days on, no delivery by EVRI.

Left AI chat messages and promised to be telephoned, not been done.Do not use Mountain warehouse for ordering online.

Can’t return item no paperwork or email given only payment confirmation on PayPal

A response to help, no one has replied to my email to help return the parcel, and I waited for 1 hour on the phone, then it was cut off.

Preferred solution: Help to allow me to send my parcel back for refund by post as I can’t as there was no email sent and no paperwork included so I don’t have order number only PayPal transaction x

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. Eventually they stopped passing me from one AI chat bot to another and a real human organised a refund for non delivery by Evri.

Persistence!

I think they hoped that I would give up asking for my money back. It took a month being batted back and forth between Evri and Mountain Warehouse.

I rang the line to ask for refund for parcel that Evri delivered to someone else. In a call queue then they said all our call operatives are busy and cut off the call. Will never use mountain warehouse again, or Evri if I can help it!

Very bad.. interview not conducted in a fair view or manner for a second time in 3 years..

when you call, you're told to put it in writing. No one to talk to.. treated really unfairly by the company and its employers for being dyslexic and autistic..

I hope this has changed over the years but clearly it hasn't.. and people like myself with learning difficulties and autism are prejudiced against and forced out without being given a fair chance...
