Mountain Hardware makes quality equipment. It is difficult to contact them through email however, they respond to requests submitted through PissedConsumer.

Bad product
Bad zipper on my coat And the coat is in good shape other than the zipper. I would like to get a replacement

Delayed order
Ordered a jacked December 1st said it was going to be second day air shipping its now December 26th and every time I check tracking it gets pushed back it now says Jan 4th!!! Says its coming ups but their tracking all starts with a 1Z and thats not what I have you call customer service the wait time is an hour and like my shipment the wait time keeps going up!!!
You took my money in about a minute but robbed me with my delivery because at this point I seriously dont think Im getting the jacket I paid for a month ago. Anyone thinking of buying from here should seriously reconsider.

I love so much about Columbia and Mountain Hardware sportswear. I do however have one consistent problem with them.
I have so many problems with their zippers. Constantly jamming. Can't zip up. Won't zip down.
I have many old, old jackets from other manufactures that have never suffered from these issues. I actually had a Columbia salesperson tell me to "be more gentle" zipping up and down. Are you kidding? That's Columbia's resolution to their inferior zippers!?
Oh, let's not rectify the issue, just tell the customer that they need to baby Columbia/Mountain Hardware's "rigged" outdoor wear. No more, there are a plethora of other sportswear companies out there.
$300 jackets with 8¢ zippers does not impress. This is with all jackets/coats I've purchased not just the model I'm currently having issues with!!
