Mount Washington Tavern

2/15/2013 dinner at Mt. Washington Tavern.

Reservations made ahead of time. Told that "Happy Hour" was from 5PM - 7PM...drinks 1/2 price and "free shrimp".Arrived at 5PM...had 2 wines in the bar at 1/2 price...never saw any shrimp. Could smell it but never saw it. Had 5:30PM dinner reservations and off to our seating.

Ordered another round of wines and were charged full price at 6PM and during "Happy Hour " prices. Asked for the Manager; Mike Dowkowitz, who told us "No 1/2 price if you were seated at the table which we were not told prior". Manager uncooperative, food mediocre at best.Sam,the waiter was great, however, he did not make up for the Manager's lack of Customer Service! Will never frequent Mt.

Washington again and would discourage anyone else from ever going there! Terrible experience!!!
