Firstly the service dept manager does not know how to smile or greet! Made me feel like it’s because I was not the same race as he is! Reason being he seemed to be quite friendly with other people of his own race! Secondly, The lady that “helped” me was so rude, she called me about my service plan and rudely cut the call while I was speaking. I had to call back, and she’s like oh ya and continued what she was saying. If you don’t like your job just quit! Don’t take your frustrations out on customers. Car was not even washed or cleaned properly when they were done. I had to wait half an hour for my car, because the keys were nowhere to be found and the paperwork was not completed. That is just to mention a few. Worst experience ever!!! I will never take my car back to Kia Menlyn nor will I recommend it to anybody!

Trade Car Settlement and Refund Overdue - Poor Service Kia Menlyn

It’s with utter frustration that I send you this correspondence, especially after the manner in which the sell transactions of the 2 new vehicles I bought at the end of December was completed without a hitch within 2 days. Today is the 22nd of January and until now, I have had no refund done of the instalment that went off on my previous car at the start of January and to make things worse, the previous car has not been settled yet, even after 4 settlement request have been requested from ABSA. The next debit order run is due in 9 days and if Kia Menlyn has not even settled my previous car yet, this means that the debit order tape has already been loaded and most possibly I’ll have another instalment go off end of January. Which means Kia Menlyn will be owing me 2 instalments and can’t even refund one. Excuses like unknown FP agreements on my name, accountants not available to process my payment, indemnity forms having to be resigned after I signed originals at the dealer, the payment has been loaded and then 2 days later no they’re waiting for authorisation is only a mere few. When I called there on Friday afternoon around 15H00 to find out who is working on my refund, I was surprised to find out no DP exists, Gavin was out for the afternoon, Herman was back on Monday and Dally was on leave. Amazing that the dealership is actually still operational. I am giving them until Close of Business today to have the matter resolved. Failure to do so will necessitate me to pursue the matter from a legal perspective.
