Don'd waste you money at Mosca Boats

Watch out for Mosca Boats!! The two owners, husband and wife are great salespeople. Lies, lies, lies, lies.....I put a large down deposit on a Mosca boat which was required by the owners to start building my boat. The two owners were very very very nice and helpful up to putting down a large deposit. Once I put down my deposit things changed instantly. No answered phone calls and no returned voice messages. I was promised a complete boat in 3 months. I did not pick up my boat until over 1 year later. My boat was not complete when I picked it up. The finish on the hull itself is horrible. It has all kinds of very noticeable imperfections of the gelcoat paint job. The rigging is horrible. Mosca Boats will cost you double the cost of other great custom boat builders. The headaches are not worth it. Also there are no workers at Mosca Boats to build your expensive boat because the working conditions at Mosca's shop are unbelievably unsafe and filthy. Trust me I learned a lot in 1 year waiting on my Mosca Boat that I am trying to get rid of. Don't do it.

Do not buy from this company, The owner consistantly lies and is not a man ofhis word. He will tell you he will meet you at the factory and never shows up, He does not honor his warranty after the boat sale.

He will not answer his phone and will not return returned left messages. He is all peaches and cream before the sale but after he is gotten your money he wants nothing to do with you anymore. Really two faced. Mosca boats has such a bad reputation that as soon as you buy your boat the value drops by 1/3.

A friend bought a top of the line $80,000 boat that has only 40 hours on it. He is getting too old to fish and is trying to sell for $60,000. No one will but it because of the companies overall reputation.

So.. buyers beware.

Can't get anyone at Mosca to return calls.

Our boat was delivered after almost six months with slight flaws in the paint and a few other issues. Ceser promised that he would get it cleaned up, we should just bring it back when we wouldn't be using it. We've had it back in his shop no less than 4 time over the past year for the repairs and every time we get it back in worse condition than we left it in. Now they will not return our calls. The brand new boat we waited almost six months for and paid $46K has never looked "in delivery" condition. It is now covered in overspray and paint "touch up" that doesn't match. All we want is the boat fixed.

Mosca boats does not honor warranty

I spent $40,000 on a boat that came with a 10 year hull warranty. My boat was less then 2 years old got *** in it, my insurance sayed to take it to the builder a marine engineer surveyed the boat and determined it was a manfucture defect. The builder then told the engineer and insure he did not want word to get out about this and Cesar The owner would take care of it I then recieve a bill and emaiul that he will not warranty his work. I'm not the only one and if you are spending money on a boat ready the warranty close and look into the builder close. Just cause it is a good looking boat does not mean it is built good. The owner says he is going to use materials but come to find the material he uses are not the same.

I have a mosca 22 bay rader. It has been the perfect boat for me.

It runs great in skinny water . I get where my old boats could not. This is my 5th boat.

At 53yrs it will probably be my last. Yes they take a while but worth the wait.

Kind of curious all these *** from Austin make 4 complaints in 3 days? I heard hosemyballs didn't even register his used boat in his name to avoid paying taxes.

It finally caught up with him. He is a loser named hoser...

I will have to agree there is a reason alot of these boats are for sale, empty promisses

Cesar tells you your boat will take 2 months to build ask any other owner it takes for ever.

Cesar used my Boat for his personal use while it was in his shop, I found yhis out because my GPS Track marks when of somewhere i had never been. When confrented he said he was testing my prop, 30 miles away????
